SWEETS hotel Omvalbrug

I highly recommend these “Sweet” and DOPE hotel rooms. We needed to feel like we sort got away during these strange COVID times, so I booked one for my partners birthday. We literally live around the corner, so we walked there, but it felt like we were somewhere else. At least for the night.
Great price. Great design. Dope history. Do it now!

Mooi klein maar fijn brugwachtershuisje, met uitzicht op het water en de spoorbrug en vlak naast een park en een jachthaven. Huisje is modern ingericht met mooi design. Omgeving was een verrassing, het Amstelkwartier biedt mooie architectuur en is heel mooi geworden. Er zijn verschillende restaurants in de buurt waar je kunt eten of (nu) eten kunt halen.

I never made it inside the accommodation as the door did not open (with an app on your phone). Unfortunately nobody could come over, and the given alternatives (another place at the other side of the city) were not an option for me since it took quite long and it was almost midnight. Still two stars because I like the concept and the place looked lovely in the pictures.

Terrible, save your money. Directly next to loud train on one side, loud street on other side, covered in graffiti, people loitering around the outside of the building, feels unsafe. Don’t believe me? Book it and see.
