Hotel Flipper

A lot of these reviews are overly critical, you get what you pay for and I had no room for complaints. Staff were friendly and helpful from start to end, and my friends and I found the family room to be very comfortable, perfect for what we needed. If you're looking for a reliable cheap stay, this is the place to go. It's not a luxury experience but is fairly priced and in a nice location.

This place is amazing. I cannot believe such a cute place is so cheap as well. The rooms are nice and cleaned every day. The facilities are also clean and very modern. Recently refurbished and well maintained and managed hotel. Breakfast option. Rooms with private bathroom or shared. VERY close to the centre. Option to rent bikes. The receptionists are VERY helpful and polite. Everything's really top notch here especially if you compare the price to nearby hotels. Will come back every time I'm around here. Thank you.

For what we pay was good enough. I didn’t find bedbugs as previous comments were referring .They were cleaning the room every day by changing blankets sheets and the toilets.

I was afraid at first for the comments but my experience is much better than I thought.

I came to the hotel a bit scared because the comments. I have been here 3 nights with two friends and everything is fine. In our room there were no bedbugs and everything was very clean. The receptionists are very friendly and the hotel, for such a cheap price, is very good. If I were to return to Amsterdam, I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

I liked to stay there a lot!
I got a room on the toppest floor and had a big roofwindow.
It was supernice to check the stars at night.The place was very clean and tidy,
I was alone under the roof and I had a private bathroom ,other guests arrived just on the third day.
Everything is really not far away;) and this area is one of my favorites in Amsterdam.
The river Amstel is in walking distance and the great Amstel Park.

I was a bit nervous before arriving to the hotel due to seeing a number of negative reviews. However, for the price paid, the location is absolutely fantastic and while the room was small and basic, it was exactly what we paid for. If you are just looking for a basic place to sleep & leave your things while exploring the city, you could do a lot worse than Flipper. I can only assume the people leaving negative reviews were expecting to pay £30 a night for a 5* hotel experience..

I stayed there 4 Nights ,, the management and staff are very friendly, it’s cozy and near everything.

Very good and pleasant for it's price. The staff is friendly and the location is great. The neighborhood is quite and beautiful next to a park and a canal.

Great place to stay a few nights (or more) if you're visiting Amsterdam for a bit.

Not expensive, good rooms, very clean, the metro is pretty closeby, nice breakfast, workers know how to be not obnoxious. I've been here multiple times, and will come again.

I mean, it's not super luxurious. But in my opinion it doesn't have to be. Check their website to make sure you won't get disappointed after this review. 😅

I give this a 5 because of the price. easy to get to from train station no need to get a tram about 35 minutes walk into main town you can't go wrong one of the cheapest rooms you can get I don't no why it's a really nice hotel very quiet no main roads showers are nice and hot nice and cosy. I stayed there from the Thurs till the Monday.

I was pleased with this hotel. It is good value for money. Spent two evenings here, nice neighbourhood. Furthermore, the receptionist was super helpful and very welcoming. I do recommend the place.

Good hotel clean an cheap if your complaining about abit of dust in a corner id like to see you find another hotel of this quality for the same price in amsterdam, recently stayed here 2 nights an got on suite bathroom for free due to a minor error on their side. 5 star

5 stars for me the price was really good and the attention was perfect is not that far away from the central station only 3km but by foot is like 40 mins perfecto to walk and get to know the city
