Lady at the desk is highly service oriented and tries to help each customer, even after closing times. Personel handling the car give good explanations about the return policy and car operation which is handy when you rent a bus for the first time. The location is very close to the highway which is a big pluspoint although is does require a 15min walk from the metrostation. Lastly, these cars are very very new. The mileage was only 12.000 km in my case.

I had a great experience renting out a van from sixt. Not only the staff was super friendly, but lady at the counter did an extra effort to explain to me everything in details and comfort me with the process. Definitely will make my next rental there as well :-)

Today we visited to get delivery van for house moving for 8 hours. The service agent on the counter assisted us in an excellent service. The van was good and really maintained.

Exceptional rental experience. Website easy to use, employee contacted me prior to pick-up to offer free upgrade to larger vehicle (I needed SUV for moving purposes). Marius (Amstel Bus Park location) handed me the keys in less than 5 minutes and another employee personally walked me to the vehicle & oriented me to all features. Returning car after-hours was extremely easy and received an electronic acknowledgement that vehicle/keys had been returned after I placed keys in rental return after-hours box. Received a follow-up call from Marius to ensure that all had gone well. I have NEVER had a rental car company contact me after a rental. Wow...what a pleasant surprise. Fantastic business model!! Very impressed and will rent from Sixt in future!

Super great service for a Saturday. The attendant even changed the settings to ensure the navigation was in English. After hours drop off was super helpful, and it sends you an automated message when it detects the keys. There was a chip in our windshield, glad we addressed it prior to departure, but they noted it and it was a great ride.

The employees of the Amstel Business Park location are competent and friendly. They are also always there to help with problem solving.

Always enjoyed good service here by friendly people. I prefer this one over the desk at Central Station which is more aimed at quick service to tourists.

We rented a BMW i3 to visit Bruges for a day. Reserving, collecting and returning the car was simple and staff were there to help with any questions. The car we received was clean and worked as expected*. The EV charging card we received was a great help during our trip.

*A note on reliability if you're renting the i3:

The backup petrol motor only provides you with some protection. If you are driving at speed (>80km/h) and the battery goes flat, the motor will not have enough power to maintain this speed and the car WILL slow down while your foot is on the accelerator. This is not a problem with Sixt but with BMW's design of the car.

Great service and an amazing help from the staff in this Sixt office! Eliza and Stijn were extremely helpful and kind and even though we had issues with our booking they helped us to the best of their abilities! Very proffesional, Thank you so much for helping us to make our trip happen!

If you're going to rent with Sixt in Amsterdam I recommend you do it here. Staff really knows how to go the extra mile for their customers. A+ every time. Incredible. Extra credit for the manager especially. He really loves to solve any issue or request you throw at him.

Hands down the best rental car experience I've had in Europe. Commented that I don't enjoy driving Volvo's and friendly employee called me ahead and asked if I'd prefer an Audi, this ladies and gentlemen is how you run a service.
