Martin Luther Kingpark

Nice park right across the street from Amstel river (though the park itself has no lake or water) and never too crowded

It is small but peaceful park.

The statue of dr. King is much like the park, small, but pretty. You can see the whole park from pretty much anywhere in the park. My 3 year old loves the pirate ship playground in the park for some reason. The park has 3 big playing spaces and object for kids. So it is worth the walk for me.

it's a beautiful park, not too crowded...

This review is more for the traveling parade than for the park itself. The parade is the best cultural festival in the Netherlands. Art, music, and theater are made widely available for a low price, with short performances in a beautiful atmosphere. In between performances, go to the juice bar for a can of sangria, Zijpe Stijl for good fish dishes, the ‘zweefmolen’ after 22:00 for a fun and wild ride, and any other place for an excellent atmosphere.

Honestly, this is my absolute most favorite park in Amsterdam. The bit next to Amstel Boathouse is my favourite summer destination. Neat, peaceful and not too crowded most of the time, MLK is truly my most cherished destination. The Gemeente looks after it and plants flowers each year, while trees are looked after and tended to as needed.

Nice place to have a walk. I also enjoyed the "Parade" festival they make every year

Wide open field with huge old trees. Quite, despite busy roads nearby, and great place for meditation. Never seen it crowded thanks to alternatives.

Not so wide but its good to bring your dogs to play there.😊

One of the view parks in Amsterdam where I ch allow barbecue as well it's not so crowded and u can enjoy a relaxed sunny day

Small park close to Amstel river

It's a lovely place, I come there every day as I live nearby, a walk in the park is always calming.

Great for bbq's! And in the summer time also nice to be able to swim in the Amstel river.

Quiet, clean, tidy, green, nice river view, Restairsnte Amstelbiat house with parking. Super!!!!
