The Unbound Amsterdam

It was beautiful and our dog really loved the grounds. If you want a calm and quiet experience, close to Amsterdam, I would definitely recommend it. The pizza was great, but they were out of most things on the menu, which was a little disappointing. I would still stay there again.

So peaceful. The cabins are lovely and very clean. The barrel sauna is a dream. The whole place is beautiful. It’s a bit far from the centre but they have bikes for rental (30 mins cycle). Thank you! 🍃

The place is located in a quite neighbourhood away from town. We stayed in the Lighthouse room with Hot Tub which was comfortable enough for 4 adults and 2 kids. Hot tub was kept heated and ready on our day of arrival was very thoughtful. All the amenities Required for our 3 days stay was provided. Clean and neat rooms. Friendly staff. There was a bar/restaurant onsite which was open until late. Open light house bedroom was also something we all enjoyed to sleep while gazing stars.

We have stayed at Unbound couple times and had dinner and an event. Always nice time! Highly recommend the open air hot tubs at night, enjoy them under the starlight with smell of forest woods and crickets.

Beautiful place and perfect for a getaway. We stayed one night and made use of the private sauna with a cold dip afterwards. The room was tidy and clean and the staff very nice. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the lighthouse with the hot tub.
The lighthouse is large and has a modern electric cooker and induction hob.
It is easily enough space for four people with it's 2 large beds. We travelled just as a couple with a dog.
It's very dog friendly and they are allowed everywhere without a fuss. They even put a dog bed in the room for you!
It can be both very warm and cold with it's Aircon. It's a little noisey in the house but if you close all the doors you can ignore the noise.
You can also open most window doors which in summer would be amazing!
The hot tub is a little bit of a faff and they charge 40 euros for the to make it (although it's free the first day), I did pay as was out all day and it apparently takes 3 hours or more to heat. I hope the nice lady who did this gets paid well!
There were cooking utensils etc to make pasta and most foods. If I come again for longer I would bring some extra pieces like tongs, spatula etc to make more foods.
All the staff are helpful and the first lady checking us in also doing the fire was wonderful.
The only thing we didn't have is the breakfast. This is because there was no hot option and cost 17.5euro. It did all look high quality for sure but with no hot options we opted for egg on toast we made ourselves.
When you look at the other accomodations in the village, they looked cute but a bit small for us. I don't think I would go for anything other than the lighthouse if you are used to self catering accommodation and suites etc.

Great place for a getaway! A bit outside of the city and situated in a calm area. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy nature with some privacy - this is the place. The service is great, they are kind. I cannot complain about the cleaning as well. Everything was top

We stayed at the Unbound Amsterdam for one night (3 adults and a baby) to get away from busy life in central Amsterdam. We booked The Lighthouse mostly for the private hot tub which was awesome!
Things didn’t go exactly to plan during our stay, but the staff were super friendly and helpful which more than made up for the issues during our stay.
The sauna and cold plunge were great, the hot tub was exactly what we needed (once we got it hot enough), the beds and the bedding were excellent, we slept great!
But what truly sets this place apart are the people. Very rarely do we find such good service in Amsterdam, THANK YOU for your genuine friendliness and all the help during our stay.
We would come back in the future.

We visited The Unbound in February 2023. Unfortunately the weather was to bad for the Outdoor Hottub or going to the city center by bike. However the place made a very good impression. The Cabins are quite large, large windows that allow a lot of sunlight to get in. The bathroom was good, the beds were comfortable, even the sleeping couch. We did not use the kitchen, but it seemed good as well. We did not try the restaurant, as well, but the bar was quite well equipped.
We traveled as a group of guys and I am looking forward to come again with my wife in a warmer month. I think she would love it.
What stood out the most was the very polite and friendly staff!

Beautiful property! Relaxing rooms, sauna, bar and lounge. We loved staying here as a couple. The location is the only part for us that was tougher as it was a long way to walk to get other food or explore. Recommend renting a bike to go explore and try other restaurants. Their restaurant is absolutely fantastic for food lovers so definitely save some budget to try it as well!!

We had such a relaxing time with our dog. The rooms are beautiful and we even had a private roof terrace. Food was delicious and the service was great. You must book the barrel sauna, it was divine.

Very comfortable! Cute cabin, very suitable for friends have a driving tour! Every time I go out for travel I have to bring my own shampoo! But this time I didn't use my own, the shower gel and shampoo provided by the hotel are very good，and They even offer body lotion！I also tried the barrel spa！Excellent hotel！I will come back！

My wife and I stayed here with our puppy Edo. The hotel is lovely, we were able to do everything with Edo. The hotel has a friendly dog who played with Edo too. The restaurant is reasonably priced, the coffee and fries are really good! The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The sauna and plunge pool is such a nice add-on too. Would highly recommend!

We can’t wait to come back! 5 stars for everything, the rooms are spacious, clean and the wood fire was a cosy touch for winter. Jagger was an adorable companion for our dog, the fact she could be off leash on the grounds and in the Lobby bar was such a nice treat. Amazing food and super friendly service.

Eco friendly clean peaceful amazing staff and the chefs cook an amazing lunch.
Next trip to holland later this month I will have an open-ended return flight.
As 1 night was not enough.
Highly reccomend for couples of all ages,families and even solo on a business trip.

Spent a lovely weekend with my boyfriend for his birthday back in January, to escape the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. We were able to book a sauna slot when we checked in, and were able to move it once we realised it didn't really fit our schedule for that day. The flexibility and open-ness of the reception team was fantastic and it all ran smoothly.
The area is lovely to take a walk in, but I would think twice as a tourist if you are visiting Amsterdam since it's quite far from the city centre. All in all it was an amazing time!

I was only here for a day and wish I could’ve stayed longer! The staff from the reception to the bar and restaurant, and custodians all have impeccable service.

The location is situated in a beautiful, natural landscape near other places.

A bonus is that I forgot my jacket and they had it ready for me when I came back to pick it up.

Best trip ever! Definitely recommend going to this place, also the spa barn is a MUST! The room, especially the bed is so comfortable, all the furnitures are design objects. Jagger, the dog of the hotel made our trip much better❣

Perfect stay for short getaway. We love the lovation and ambiance. Room was very comfortable and well designed. Employees are also very welcoming and kind ♥ We also had a dinner in the restaurant which was very tasty!

Stayed here mid week for a one night getaway with some friends and we were not disappointed! We shared a cabin and it had everything we need, it was just a shame that the hot tub was only lukewarm. We rented out the spa cabin for a couple of hours later on in the evening and would definitely recommend doing that!
The dinner was fantastic and service good. Felt super relaxed afterwards.
