I know it's a good market because we sell our Kimchi, water kefir and healthy probiotic rich fermented foods there. Several very good market sellers including quality fish, meats, cheese, olive oils and more. FermentFabriek is there each Wednesday.

People here are carefree, relaxed, no stress and some of the staff I wanted to invite home for a drink.There is human surveillance and automated payments that I could live without. Security member appreciated, down to earth and friendly.

Has everything you may need grocery-wise, plenty of staff on hand as well. Watch what time you go as can get very busy.

A typical small'ish square with some seating arrangement available. It has decent tram and bus connectivity with well defined cycle lanes. Stores like Albert Heijne and Hema are available for your daily needs in proximity.

On Tuesdays a small farmers market is hosted with a repeat of the same vendors selling: Bread, Sausages, blends of nuts and humus, the best burger in town (yes!) and roasted chicken.

Overall a microcosm of a town square with a lot to do in proximity.

If you do self checkout it's great, but if you don't have a Dutch debit card be prepared to wait in a long line to checkout

Small, only most essential goods, though due to the Westerpark closeness, everything is always as fresh as only possible.
