WestCord Art Hotel Amsterdam

One of the best rooms Ive stayed in, modern and clean with bespoke art painted on the wall, a really nice touch I appreciated. The bathroom was clean and modern, probably the best hotel room I've stayed in so far. Beds were soft and comfortable. I recommend with enthusiasm.

It was one of the best short stay hotels I've stayed in.
The hotel is located in a quieter district of Amsterdam, near the port, about 40 minutes by foot from the center.
Check-in and check-out were quick. No problem with arriving at 13:00, the room was waiting for us already.
The hotel' restaurant is good with very professional and quick service.

The staff here are very professional and helpful. The rooms are nice, comfortable and very clean. There is a bistro in the ground floor but we didn’t get chance to try it out. There is a bus stop next to the hotel to get you in and out of city center every 10 minutes.

Nice hotel. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Even if you have to check out at noon you can leave your luggage at the hotel for the rest of the day. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options (for all tastes) and it was a great way to start the day 💯

Situated a bit out of the city centre but the number 22 bus is frequent and about 10-15min ride into Central Station. There are some supermarkets and cafes/restaurants a bit further up the road so we often got the bus from here but there is a stop pretty much outside the hotel.

Check in was easy enough although we were asked to give lots of personal information such as occupation which I didnt like.

Our room was of a good size with a glass wall for the bathroom which had a separate shower and bath. The bed was comfy and we had a good night's sleep. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room but there was tea and coffee.

There was a good selection for breakfast in the morning of hot and cold food. The pool area was closed for winter but it did look big from what we could see.

We had some drinks in the bar on our first night but the bar wasn't always manned as they were focused on serving food in the restaurant.

Would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing stay here with my partner and a couple of friends - our rooms were bright, comfortable and well equipped and the staff were lovely and attentive. We also had dinner and drinks here on one of the nights we stayed and everything was amazing. Would definitely return here and would highly recommend this place!

This hotel is very clean and quiet. Whilst 10 mins out of town it has a bus stop No 22 50m from it's doors which runs every 10 mins. Room was excellent, bar and restaurant area welcoming by its look but mainly by the excellent staff that really do make this hotel what it is. Friendly and helpful as well as being able to be natural with you, not over the top as you get in some hotels. Beer excellent and we ate most nights as it suited us after a long day in the city and the food was excellent. Can't comment on the pool as we were there in October/November. We didn't have breakfast (£20) but they do offer a pastry and coffee for £4.90 in the bar and a croissant with butter and jam with a coffee was plenty to get us up and out before finding a cafe in town. We will be back next year for another visit. This hotel is also on Easyjet hotel list.

Staying at the hotel at the time of this review.. the staff from reception to the lovely bar/ meal staff are wonderful. So helpful, friendly and willing to help and please. The meals , although limited, are plentiful and tasty. The location of the hotel is out the way but easily accessible by the number 22 bus which is seconds away. This can take you to central station in around 15 minutes. Love the hotel and staff. Can't wait to come back. Andy , Annelize

Just stayed here for four nights staff were very friendly they checked us in quickly as we arrived early and were very helpful would definitely recommend it’s similar to premier inn in the uk

We had a wonderful time, comfortable and clean rooms. The bathroom was nice, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and service in the bar was amazing too.

Lovely hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and spotless, great breakfast and bar food, bus stop outside hotel, 10 minutes to central station, would definitely go back 😀

Clean rooms, friendly staff and located just outside the city centre with great transport links.

Book direct for the best price rather than using those silly comparison sites.
The location is not the best but it's clean, the rooms are spacious and comfy, the breakfast is good, the bar is nice, the staff are nicer still.
We booked as my partner is an art student and liked the sound of an "art hotel"

Great hotel, really good location and 6/7 minute bus from Central station 1.50 euros. Rooms and ensuite are great. I would head into town for breakfast. Great team.

Great hotel, really clean and friendly, with a bus stop just outside that takes you into town.

I enjoyed my stay at the WestCord Art Hotel. I stayed in room 318. 318 is a two room suite, very roomy. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom provided for my needs without issue.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection to start your day. It even has soy milk for the vegans.
The restraunt has a good menu. I had the cheese pizza and sweet potato fries.
There is access to two swimming pools. The bus stop for bus 22 is a very short walk from the front door. The bus was very important since I didn't have a car or bicycle.
If you would like to walk to a restraunt or shopping, there are many restraunts and stores within a half mile of the front doors. Bus 22 stops twice in that half mile if you'd rather ride.
If you are not from Europe, the Hotel does not provide a 220/110 converter. Plan accordingly.
The staff were courteous and helped with every question that I brought to them.
If I am in Amsterdam again I would not hesitate to reserve room 318 again.

The rooms are very clean and have good space. Friendly people and the laundry service was perfect. The only suggestion I could give them is the pillows was not the best.

Friendly staff, clean and a bus stop to the city center is right in front of the hotel. I got an upgrade from a Single Bedroom to a Junior Suite. It’s modern but it has also decreased over the years, I guess. Overall, I’d stay here again.
