SWEETS hotel Van Hallbrug

Amazing location, great idea to use these historic buildings as hotels. Fantastic design inside, they have thought of everything! Very modern. We loved our stay there and would definitely stay again when next in Amsterdam.

it was such a nice stay. I surprised my husband with a romantic getaway to the city, and a brughuisje suited the aimed scene perfectly. the service was great, always available if desired.

Great location .. near city center. Everything is at walking distance. Clean room, good isolated.. we felt really welcome. Good beds .. breakfast was good.. perhaps it would be nice to choose what you want to have for breakfast...missed a good coffee .. perhaps next time 😉 overall really good

Our stay at the SWEETS hotel Van Hallbrug was literally perfect in every way. This adorable bridge house made our stay in Amsterdam simply wonderful! To begin, the check-in process was very simple and made for quick access to the room (everything was done through an easy to use app). Next, we were blown away by how cute the space was! The decor, design, and little details were all superb! Yes, the room is very small, but due to it’s amazing layout, the two of us never felt cramped or bothered by the size - it only made the experience more fun! The amenities were also great, from the cozy robes and super comfortable bed, to the heated bathroom floor (a major perk for me). This particular location, in my opinion, is perfect for exploring Amsterdam. It’s a short 10 - 20 minute bike ride from most sites around the city, and just secluded enough to avoid crowds. We can’t wait till our next stay with SWEETS hotel!

Great little break to be tourists in our own city and getting to stay in a neighborhood where we don't usually hang out!
The room was small but very cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. Road noise was not an issue and there were earplugs available which we did not have to use.
The view of the water and the passing boats, the bridge opening and closing, and the information about the history of this and other bridge houses made it a very interesting and unique stay!
In the morning, the breakfast delivered was good value for money and quite delicious - thank you.

We entered our secret hide-away Van Hallbrug around midnight; although in a lively neighbourhood, the location was quiet during the night. we were stunned by the way it has been designed; although (very) small, it had all we could want. A magnificent view on the canal, a well designed interior and very ingenious solutions to fit it all in! Waking up in the morning with again this magnificent view on the canal was the perfect way to start the day! We have another 26 bridgehouses to go to complete our Sweets collection!

This little gem offers a new take on the tiny house-movement. While the bridgehouse seemed quite packed at first glance, it turns out to offer all necessities – albeit some are tucked away behind some panels. Go and explore! We loved the supercomfi bed :)

Pro-tip: store your luggage under the bed. There’s plenty of room and it saves you a lot of hassle in this truly cute bridgehouse. Would definitely recommend to others!

To wake up in your own private tiny-house, look over the water of the Kostverloren Vaart and watch the ships sail by right under your window, is an experience you won't easily forget. The typical Amsterdam-Scool architecture of this small building has been respected in the interior. This is a stay in Amsterdam with one leg in the 30's en the other in the present. Enjoy! (and don't forget a small eveningwalk through the lovely Fredrik Hendrik plantsoen and the lively neighbourhood Jordaan behind it)

Ontzettend leuke lokatie om in te overnachten. Het is een schatting en knus huisje op een relatief rustige lokatie. Er komt niet bijzonder veel verkeer langs en af en toe een bootje, wat alleen maar extra charme geeft aan de locatie. 100% aanrader!

Super verblijf gehad! Goede locatie, schone kamer, eenvoudig in- en uitchecken en een heel complete kamer, ondanks dat het niet heel groot is. In één woord top!

J’ai eu la chance de passer un séjour extraordinaire. La maison est toute proche du Jordaan, les commerces sont à 2 pas et le tramway aussi.
Le logement est parfait grâce a son originalité, son indépendance, et aussi la qualité de la literie et une propreté impeccable.
Calme et confortable même si elle est « tiny »

Unieke ervaring met uitstekende en persoonlijke service!

Het was een ontzettend leuke ervaring om in een 'tiny bridgehouse' te overnachten. Alles was aanwezig. Ontbijt was ook goed geregeld. Een aanrader!

Knus huisjes, dat met zorg is ingericht. Ondanks de geringe omvang is alles aanwezig voor een geweldig verblijf. Geen last gehad van omgevingslawaai. Tram op loopafstand. Enig minpunt was dat de App voor het openen van de deur niet werkte. Terwijl we op de medewerkster wachtten hebben we op hun kosten koffie aangeboden gekregen. In het huisje is ook een keycard en die hebben we daarna gebruikt
