This is a small place but peaceful in vintage theme. Drinks are also good and various. Especially, they have Bánh mì and it's quite delicious and cheap with 5.50€

Best Banh Mi in town! We had the lovely vegan paired with refreshing Holy Ganja drinks, great combination ;-) And as a bonus we got the coconut pineapple vegan home made ice cream. Yummy stuff! Service with a smile, good food. Definitely recommend!

Funky decorations, great coffee and wonderful sandwiches! Plus the owners are just lovely! They gave us tips on hidden things to see and advice on where to go. We tried the iced coffee and a black coffee and both got pork bahn mi. Definitely a great place to stop for a quick bite, nice chat and great coffee!

Such a cute place! The whole menu is tasty and they have the best bahn mi in whole Amsterdam, it’s perfectly balanced in flavor <3 The decor is so funky and it’s a a joy to meet the two ladies owning the place!

I thought it a bit strange for a cafe to have only 4 & 5 star reviews, but after visiting for myself I can understand why.

Van Gogo's has a Great atmosphere, cosy places to relax and most importantly the creamiest coffee I have yet to try.
Run by a couple of friendly kiwis, they also provide very Authentic Vietnamese food. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're on your way past in Jordaan.

We were quite tired on our last day in Amsterdam and were looking for somewhere to have a rest when we found this place. The ladies who served us were lovely, the decor was so funky and the food was superb. In a really pretty area too, highly recommend.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Very friendly service with a nice Vietnamese sandwich. Their coffee is said to be great, though we haven't tried it out. We liked their choice tea and smoothie 😎

In the heart of the Jordaan, Tweede Egelantiersdwarsstraat, with its myriad of cafes and restaurants is deservedly considered to be one of the finest 'foodie' streets in Amsterdam. When a sandwich, snack or a great coffee will suffice, it doesn't get any better than at Van Gogo's Coffee + banh mi.

Kiwi owners Anna and Michelle go out of their way to make you immediately feel at home. Their gallery and store is small but this only adds intimacy to the cosy surroundings. An internal staircase leads to an additional seating area and the walls are adorned with some great artwork. Throughout, there are some great items from the fifties, most of which are available for sale.

Speciality of the house is the sandwich connoisseur's number one choice, bahn mi, a baguette filled with various savoury ingredients. Bahn mi was invented in the 1950's in Vietnam, combining French loaves with local ingredients, and went on to become a universal culinary hit. Van Gogo's offer a vegan version or Asian style red pork, meatball and chicken meatball with vegetables and sauces, accompanied by a bottle of Sriracha hot sauce for those who like it even spicier. Further delights include scrumptious authentic bagels especially imported from New York, Vietnamese salad, superb organic Ethiopian Bocca coffee, juices and smoothies and an assortment of mouth-watering vegan snacks ranging from energy balls to banana bread with coconut sauce.

Anna and Michelle have succeeded in creating a niche dining experience with great ambience making it the hot-spot for local artists, musicians and bon viveurs. Well worth a visit !

Phenomenal little shop. A veritable hole in the wall - about 10 seats total! Great food, great coffee, great service, great conversation, and the quirkiest, most endearing atmosphere. Try the banana bread!

Such a great little spot! I used to live in NYC so I LOVE the fact that they have New York bagels. Delicious sandwiches and great coffee (including iced coffee!)
