A relatively small ground for cricket but has all the primary facilities that you can think of. Plenty of parking space too.

Beautiful cricket facility. One of the few locations in the Netherlands that regularly host international games. Turf pitch. Scenic environment with lots of greenery all around. Free parking facilities nearby. Great view from the upper terrace outside the restaurant area.

The most beautiful cricket ground in The Netherlands. One of the very few grass wickets on the continent (10 pitches) and of remarkable quality too. Home ground of the Dutch national team. VRA hosted many international events and official ODI's. Most recently Netherlands vs South-Africa (2013). Excellent training facilities.

Through the years VRA has proved to be a perfect host for cricket touring teams as well, with Amsterdam as the ideal city for leisure and entertainment.

This ground was first used for international cricket when the Netherlands played New Zealand in 1978. It has hosted many One Day Internationals (ODIs) including a match in the 1999 Cricket World Cup and the Videocon Cup in 2004 between India, Pakistan and Australia. It was also used in the 1990 ICC Trophy, the first to be played outside England.

VRA Cricket Ground has hosted some notable moments in Dutch cricket, including a three run win for the Netherlands over an England XI that featured future England captains Alec Stewart and Nasser Hussain in 1989. In July 2006, the Netherlands played Sri Lanka in their first home ODI and the visitors scored 443/9 from their 50 overs, which then was the highest team total in ODI cricket.[1] England owns the highest score of 444/3 which they made in 2016.

Located in Amsterdamse Bos, the main ground features a AAA standard turf wicket, while the second and third grounds have an artificial wicket and are used in the winter by Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club.

Lovely cricket ground but needs better seating ie metal seats no cushioning also no roofs, so in rain you get wet and in sun you get burnt
