I simply loved the hotel. When I read the bad reviews, I thought that i had made a bad choice. But it was a super comfortable bedroom, shower was great and toilet very clean. Room was warm too, you just have to turn on the radiator. Totally recommend and I’ll be back for sure!

A very interesting place to stay in Amsterdam. Very unique atmosphere. Hotel is a part of a complex. You can also find here restaurant music studios and offices of Atlantic studios. Rooms are basic but quite comfortable. Perfect for a city break. A bit far from city centre which allows you to rest from the crowd. Good connection to Amsterdam city centre by trams during the day or night buses if you decide to stay longer and have few drinks. Lovely and friendly staff at Q Hotel.

Check in was simple and easy!

The room was fairly spacious and comfortable (it had two pillows which can't be said for a lot of places). We had breakfast included which had some good options (not loads but everything you need).

Excellent hotel with a music theme. Like a legit hard rock with music events every day. To our surprise room service came to clean every day. Great value and quick 5 min train ride to central station.

Nice hotel, very contemporary with factory like decour. Staff very friendly & helpful.breakfast was repetitive, same food every morning but was really nice.its in the middle of a shopping centre & plenty of restaurants around the area. The tram in the centre is about a 5 minutes walk no 19 which you have to change at Alexandrasplein then get the no 14 to the centre. It's a music venue but don't let that put you off you don't hear a thing apart from people walking down the corridor which was no worse than any other hotel ive stayed in.

The hotel is really beautiful, it has an industrial style mixed with modern features I loved it.
The shower is amazing, great heating system. The price is good, one train station away from Amsterdam super comfortable. The surrounding are pretty too you have everything just one block away

From when we first checked in I felt very at home. The interior design is lovely and the staff are very helpful and friendly (they also speak brilliant English). We were on the top floor but it was fairly simple to get to, we only had to walk up a flight of stairs. I know some other reviews complain of the distance but I would imagine this is to simply help keep the rooms free of noise from the gigs happening downstairs. We didn't experience any trouble with the noise from the gigs nor from the other rooms. The room was spotless and the cleaner came each day to change the towels and make the beds. The shower was wonderful and again the bathroom was spotless. Unfortunately the ticket machine at the tram stop by us wasn't working but it's quite a short walk to get to the nearest train station so it didn't cause too much of an issue. They kindly stored our bags after we'd checked out until we went to the airport. The room featured a mini fridge, sink, small safe and a waterfall shower. The only two downsides (and these are really quite mild) are that there was only one mug (me and my partner had to share) and that when gigs are on you have to squeeze through people and show keycards to event security if you get back at the wrong time ie 9-11pm. All in all it was a lovely hotel and I'd definitely go back!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was a comfortable place to sleep 15-20 mins biking from all the major sites. If you are looking for an affordable hotel and not afraid to be a bit outside of city center this place is perfect.

This hotel, for the price range, is everything you could ask for. Very clean, such lovely staff. The rooms are entirely protected from the sound of the music venues - can't hear a thing. If you're a fan of walking, it's a very nice 40 minute walk down to the city centre, if you're not a fan of walking, a tram goes to the centre from right outside the hotel. Half an hour walk further into South Amsterdam from the hotel is also the house Anne Frank and her family attended BEFORE going into hiding, and the school she attended. This hotel is very well located, especially for anyone interested in Amsterdams history.

Loved this place, quite a way from the centre but there's trams regularly. The walk is nice though, ended up doing that most days! In a good location for some shops, there's a cheap little shop called 'Action' across the way that's handy for snacks or toiletries etc. 'Burger n Shake' around the corner is definitely worth a visit! There's a bar inside the hotel, as well as the cinema and live music events regularly - there's so much to do just in the Factory itself! The rooms are on the 3rd floor and very much separate from any hustle and bustle. They're clean and functional, the showers are amazing if not a little small. Only downside is that you can hear your neighbours! Although they do provide you with a free pair of ear plugs ;) and a little pocket rain poncho! The staff are lovely and helpful, I'd definitely stay again.

Me and my partner spent 2 night at this hotel.
It’s a bit strange but really interesting location.
Jasmina at the reception is a lovely girl so helpful and very attentive on her good job.
We were lucky to find Jasmina, because we had an issue with the cleaner at the room that was very rud.
But Jasmina with her great job and management, she helps us out with the issue.
Thanks and see you again.

We stayed there for 3 nights. It was excellent. The concept of the the hotel is really cool you can enjoy concerts, eat drink at the q cafe.
The staff was excellent very nice. The food was great. Everything was perfect.
Just one thing, maybe they could isolate sound more rooms from other rooms. But it was okay and the hotel said they were workin on it.
I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in something different.
Also the location was great. There is tram stops at just 1min by walk direct to city center and Amsterdam station (about 20min)
But if you want you can rent bikes at the hotel
I ll be back. See you soon q factory

Lovely stay at the Q-Factory hotel, we managed to walk to the centre (30 min) of Amsterdam, but ended up getting trams anyway. Hotel beds were really comfy and we had a balcony room which we were allowed to smoke on the balcony (cigarettes). Perfect as we were out all day so accommodated us with shower, toilet, sink and bed however I feel it lacked basic necessities If you were planning to stay in hotel more such as a kettle and wardrobe (there was one hanger). I feel there should’ve been English subtitles on the tv which I couldn’t find there to be any but luckily as I said we were out all day so it accommodates us with bed and shower which is all we needed. Friendly staff and lovely cafe. Enjoyed our stay thank you Q-Factory we will be back again.

Great hotel!! Spent a few nights here and loves the design. The breakfast was really good and the room was huge and very clean. It was easy to get the bus, train and or underground all short distances from the hotel to get straight into the central. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is located in factory which it is now a concert hall, resto and hotel in the last floor which makes a great atmosphere not only in the lobby but as well in the rooms. It is a hotel for music lovers so check in advance the concerts they have. The staff is reablibe, kind and understanding which maked a big difference to our stay. Plus they make speacial attention to details as my boyfriend birthday which made him so happy. Thank you guys for it! The room has an unique design with comfortable bed and great blanket. We enjoyed as well the breakfast, which had things like scrambled eggs, bacon, musli, fresh juices and pasteries and freshly baked bread and some fruits, basically we ate like kings. The downstairs bar have simple but nice drinks and there are always a pleasant mix of people and great playlist. The distance from the the centre is 30 min walk where it is possible to discover other bars and Amsterdam the fullest.

Very nice hotel very querky lots of interesting decor in the upstairs hallways and seething areas. Very nice bar area with an open fireplace very 'hipster' looking bars area but I mean that in a good way it looks very modern and cool. THERES A NIGHT CLIB ON THE SECOND FLOOR!!! And you can't here any music from in when your in your room or in the corridors outside the room. Music can be heard from in the reception area. Live bands pretty much every night. Only negative it's not that close the the center of Amsterdam but is surrounded by it's own outlet style shopping area with a couple of nice restaurants

Honestly had the best time staying at the Q!
Manteo made my stay so worthwhile and is the kindest person I've ever met. Always willing to help wherever he can and has always got the biggest smile on his face. He is the best!
Yasmina and Deborah were so awesome! Both so friendly and welcoming. Thank you!!

It was a very qualified hotel. Transportation from the hotel to the city center was too easy. There were great concerts. Also the hotel's café was way too good. Definitely the best place to stay!
