Hotel V Fizeaustraat

About a 10-minute walk from the train station, it was a beautiful place to stay. They helped arrange a surprise for the birthday of a travel companion, complete with a bottle of cava. The facilities, rooms, etc., were excellent. There was a lot of natural light in the rooms, a Marshall speaker, water, and snacks. We had breakfast there, and it was really good as well. I loved this place.

Amsterdam is small so location doesn’t mean much. Unless it’s raining then it matters. It rains all the time. Hotel is beautiful. Some issues knowing which doors to access: I had a set of doors across from my room leading to stairs. I took those instead of the elevator down to the lobby. Then I was stuck there or option 2 go back up to my floor and take the elevator back down. A nice American opened the ground floor doors for my entry using his access card that worked as mine boy gave me access to my floor and room. Good security but maybe a check in prep could have avoided this? Check in/ concierge was available, friendly, full of knowledge and I received a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival. Room was super cute and dark and I was well rested. Good wifi. Nice smelling proprietary bath products that were deliciously scented. Restaurant course dinner was generous. Next time I’d get 4 only. Wine pour was overly generous. Affordable. Well connected.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel V for a 4 night city break getaway. We have just arrived home after the most AMAZING stay. The hotel room was luxurious and spacious, as was the lobby, dining area and bar. The service from start to finish was 5 star- staff throughout were so warm, welcoming and went that extra mile to make us feel so accommodated. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city but is only a short walk to Amstel Station which takes you straight into the city within 10-15 minutes. Therefore, we felt that it was a perfectly situated hotel for us as it offered the perfect balance of relaxation as well as only being a short distance from the hustle and bustle that the city had to offer. We are so incredibly sad that our stay is over but look forward to returning again at some point in the future (we won't go anywhere else now we've found this gem!!). Hotel is awesome. The staff is super friendly and willing to accommodate any reasonable requests. We arrived before noon and were able to check in early with no issue. Also available are snacks, water, etc free of charge which is a nice touch. In addition, we received a voucher for 2 free drinks at the hotel bar. Food at the restaurant is also fantastic. Would highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this hotel, it's a little out from the city so it's nice and quiet. Really nice and luxurious hotel, with plenty of room space as opposed to the rest of Amsterdam's hotels. Normally I'm a bad sleeper when I'm not in my own bed and this is first time I've ever slept like a baby and same with my partner who normally struggles too. Amazing waterfall shower to relax and unwind makes this a perfect place to stay for anyone who wants to have a chill Amsterdam experience. Also the staff were super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel A++++

This is the second time we have stayed at V Hotel, the first was 7 years ago and the hotel was about 3 months old! Now after 7 years everything is still perfect! The rooms, the furniture, the design are still like new! And the hospitality is great! Excellent experience! Highly recommended!!!

Had an amazing stay at Hotel V Fizeaustraat. Honestly don’t have a bad word to say. The room was superb (love the interior design, spacious), service was excellent/super friendly, treated to champagne upon arrival, free snacks in the room, free drinks voucher to use at bar, free water and apples. Definitely would recommend to anybody looking to stay somewhere safe and secluded in Amsterdam. Location is perfect - just about a 10 minute straight easy walk to the metro station, grocery store along the way if you need any snacks! Thank you for an incredible stay x

Was recommended this hotel and it did not disappoint. From the warm welcome, two glasses of bubbles waiting for us, a voucher for two complimentary drinks from the bar, the bed decorated for us, clean tidy rooms, staff went above and beyond, free mini bar and snacks waiting in room, little Stroopwafels in a bag from hotel. Honestly was just incredible.
Quiet and a bit out of the centre, which is perfect because we value a good night sleep. We hired the hotels bikes for the day, which was the best way to get around, also the metro is only 5 mins walk.
One thing, it was raining all day and we asked the hotel to borrow an umbrella which we brought back, and were charged €12.50 for it, which I would understand it it had not been returned but, felt that was a bit mean.
All in all- one of the loveliest city hotels we have stayed in as a couple, will continue to recommend to all.

Our favourite place to stay in Amsterdam for years. Great & quiet location, relatively close to the center and all main roads out of Amsterdam. Great service, good Lobby bar with their drinks & food. Safe underground parking (recommended more than parking on street, once got the car window smashed there). Perfectly looking rooms with great beds!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - had everything we might need, the interior design is wonderful and the breakfast absolutely delicious! Would stay again.

This is my new favourite hotel in this area. A warm welcome, superb service, a very comfortable and clean room, and great food in the restaurant! I’ll be back for sure!

Lovely staff and gorgeous hotel. The dim lights and layout are my kind of vibe, especially on rainy days.

The included minibar and drink coupons upon check-in was a delightful surprise. I never book hotel brekkie, but I am glad I did this time… everything is made to order and big portions. I highly recommended the Turkish poached eggs and American blueberry pancakes.

Everything is ideal, but the location has nothing within walking distance. The closest restaurant or train is 10-15mins walk away. Then another 20 to Amsterdam centraal. If you want to see Amsterdam, this is not the place for you. Come here for a lovely stay-cation or a nice and relaxing calm before your long flight home.

Amazing hotel. In a quiet area not too far from the more lively parts of Amsterdam. Has great amenities, nice hotel rooms and a lovely lounge and restaurant where you can really relax. Will visit again!

you will be greeted with a welcome drink and friendly staff who would show a lot about the city with you! all the front desk staff were super friendly and professional! you can even get bottled water and apples at the lobby which keeps us healthy :)

the hotel and the room look amazing, and i love in particular the toiletries they provided 😍 they smelt amazing! the only thing is that the we didn't have housekeeping service on the first day. the front desk staff told us we requested no housekeeping but i don't remember we did 🤔, but she helped us cancel the request right away. we had our room cleaned the next day but it happened again one day after, the staff though after hearing us not getting housekeeping, she gave me a bunch of toiletries right away 🥹😆🤍

location wise, it's around 20 mins from the central, a bit distant in my opinion but it's located in a quiet and safe residential area and it's also very convenient for us to go to Rotterdam from Amstel where the hotel is.

overall, i like the hotel a lot and will highly recommend it! 🥰

The rooms very pretty spacious and loved the decor. 6min walk to nearest metro/train station. 20mins away from airport. Complimentary wine and some snacks!

Our room was nice, we had space and it was also cozy. The bathroom and room were very clean and the room service did a good job. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our trip, you can buy transportation cards for the bus and metro at the desk!

It was conveniently very close to Amstel Station, a metro station that can take you to the city

Simply an amazing stay at this Hotel. Not only was it located within a convenient distance to the city‘s main areas, yet it was quiet to relax after an eventful day. Most lovely was the staff which was always considerate and friendly and cared to Mark our wishes possible. If you stay Here you can enjoy The refined Quality and sophisticated service of a hip and super well designed premium hotel, an experience which you have long to look for in other places. I can only recommend The Hotel V in Fizeaustraat for anyone planning to stay in Amsterdam and treating themselves with an additional surplus. Brilliant.

Fabulous hotel. Stylish interior, great food in the restaurant. Service was impeccable. Everyone genuinely looked like they enjoyed working there & it kind of shows. Big comfortable beds & a welcome glass of bubbles on arrival. Would definitely stay there again when in Amsterdam
