YAYS Amsterdam Maritime

I recently had the pleasure of staying at YAYS Amsterdam Maritime, and I was thoroughly impressed! The apartment hotel is situated in a beautifully restored historic dock building, which has been modernized with sleek design elements. The spacious apartments are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, making them the perfect choice for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Amsterdam.

Although the staff was not overly friendly, they were extremely professional and efficient, ensuring that all of our needs were met. The apartment was spotless, with crisp white linens and sparkling clean bathrooms. The location was also excellent, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance.

One minor drawback was the slow pneumatic lift, which took a bit longer than expected to reach our floor. However, this was a small price to pay for the overall excellence of the hotel.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend YAYS Amsterdam Maritime to anyone seeking a stylish, convenient, and comfortable stay in Amsterdam. It truly exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful home base for exploring this beautiful city!

Stayed from 9 - 14 May 2024. Very nice location. Very friendly staff. I love the free coffee from coffee machine and free Tony chocolate at the lobby. Very lovely neighborhood. It’s a cozy area in front of a canal. And there are many nice restaurants, about 10 to 15 mins walk away which gives you the opportunity to walk around and enjoy the neighborhood. There is a supermarket nearby, super convenient if you want to get snacks and water. And the prices at this supermarket is very reasonable. I will come back again.

We stayed here for a week and overall we liked the place. These are more like service apartments so you won’t have housekeeping daily and the rooms were also not 100% clean(they were cleaned well but not professionally like hotels) , but the reception desk was very helpful with any questions and fixed a few issues in the room quickly. we also had access to laundry, coffee stations etc which was very useful. location is great as it is close to a bus stop and a tram station and the centraal station is only 4 stops away.

Gorgeous accommodation with everything you need. Great amenities and beautiful interior. Comfortable beds. All the staff are so welcoming, and gave us suggestions of what was in the local area. Both before and after check in/out you can store your luggage securely. Really close to tram lines and bus stops, easily get into the centre

I had already stayed at YAYS apartments in Paris so decided to try it in Amsterdam. And I am so glad I did!! YAYS Maritime is so amazing. First location is super convenient, bus from central station stops right in front. And tram 7 stop is only a 3-4 min walk. There's also supermarkets really close.
The apartment itself was great: spacious, super clean and very comfortable. Those mattresses and pillows are out of this world and will make your stay unforgettable. Couldn't recommend more because the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. All bathroom amenities, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc.
I would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Very clean and well fitted apartments. 24 hour reception with really helpful staff. Easy to get the bus into the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay. Good bus service. Easy access to most places by public transport. Helpful and friendly staff. We used the Eurostar. Easy access to Amsterdam Centraal by bus.

This place is great, the location perfect and the service magnificent. What could be better is if the upper level of our room could be higher up, I occasionally bumped my head on the roof. But location is close to a supermarket and a park, so it’s definitely worth it booking it here. Also gotta add the mention cleanliness, it is gorgeous.

YAYS Amsterdam Maritime was the perfect choice for our family stay. I was worried it was too far from the action, but it is so well serviced by tram and bus. Plus the walk is not that far. And, even more importantly, it is located in a very cool part of Amsterdam, a short walk to excellent restaurants, bars and a brewery.

We were a family of 5 - 4 adults 1 child.
Apartment was comfortable, practical, well equipped, clean.
Excellent location, 5 short bus stops from Central station, bus stop right in front of the hotel. Quiet environment.
Staff members kind and helpful.
Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our short stay of 4 nights. The kids liked the loft and the apartment was comfortable for the 4 of us.

The location is convenient with bus and trams near by or you can walk to central station in 25mins.

A number of close by supermarkets allow for easy eating in options.

Rooms are a good size. Clean and plenty of facilities. Staff are lovely and friendly. Special mention goes to Tyler who was very helpful and took time to have a chat with us.
Around a 25 minute walk into the city but there are bus/tram stops close by. Also plenty of eateries and bars nearby.

One of the most comfortable but affordable place in Amsterdam. We stayed here 3 times for great neighborhoods, easy walking access to nearby destinations and avoid tourist crowd. Rooms are two floors setup, lots of place on compact design. Bathrooms are comfortable and cozy. Great checkin area with friendly staff at counter.

Ideal location with both bus and trams very close. The apartment was ideal for our family of 3.

This is a great base when staying in Amsterdam. We had a two floor studio for me and my friend but you could easily have stayed with 3 or 4 friends as there was a double, a single and the double sofa bed. Kitchenette is fully equipped. Location perfect. Short tram or bus into the centre but plenty of shops and restaurants around there too. Staff were extremely helpful. Would highly recommend for the space and quality of accommodation.

Great self catering accommodation. Staff were friendly and informative. Great location for a trip to the brewery under the windmill. Supermarket close by, as is the tram and bus. We walked a lot too as weather was fine.

Spent 4 nights here in a studio apartment with kitchenette. As we are travelling a bit so we wanted to cook meals at times. Kitchen was really well equipped with pots,pans,glasses,bowls,
plates, coffee machine, kettle. Could ask for more teabags and coffee pods from downstairs. No phone in the rooms so you will need to go down to recep if you need anything. Theres a washer and dryer to use for free which is good. Staffs are really friendly and nice. Place is 10mins to city center by bus and there are supermarkets and restaurants around the area.

I chose to stay at Yays Maritime Hotel, because of the period building, the industrial style duplex apartment and the location of the hotel. My family and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
with easy access to public transport close by. We would deffinately stay at this hotel again.
