Very cool, unique location for a restaurant. It seems like it would have great views from the outdoor seating during warmer weather, so we will definitely visit again during the summer. The service was impeccable. We had the tasting menu and the food was unlike any other restaurant we have experienced. I did feel some of the dishes were a little too unique and just not to my taste, but I was very glad to try them once. We did not try the wine pairing (not in the mood for alcohol that evening) but I think we will definitely try the meal with wine next time. Overall very enjoyable dinner and absolutely worth visiting.

REM offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, with stunning views of the Amsterdam river. The food was tasty, and the staff went the extra mile to make sure we had a great Christmas time dining there!

Just an all round lovely place. Looks amazing, staff are very helpful and friendly, food is great, and drinks are great. They have some arcade games you can play (which we did) and it was a wonderful evening. Can’t recommend highly enough 😊

We had a wonderful evening in this very special restaurant. The building on the water is unique, as is the view. The service was very attentive and friendly. The five-course menu was of star quality and we seriously wonder whether the Michelin Guide is asleep. All the courses were very special, with seafood included everywhere in a sophisticated way. Only the desert was not quite to our taste, it was more reminiscent of an appetiser with porcini mushrooms, mushrooms and coffee, perhaps a little too bold for us. The wine selection is not huge but the wines are very good. We were delighted and thank you for a very special evening.

REM is my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam, I went there for the second time now but the quality is always on point. There are not a lot of places where you find chefs who dare to make special and also interesting combinations like the ones Bobby makes. Each dish makes your brain work a little harder to figure out what he has done now and how to recreate it! The sommelier is making this experience even better with his enthusiasm about each and every drink he serves. We’ve visited many great restaurants in the world but I genuinely can’t say that any of them compares to REM, unless they don’t want it, I can’t imagine why the Michelin guide doesn’t give them a star soon!!

Located near the port of Amsterdam, this is one of the top locations when it comes to view, food, drinks, and get-together venues in Amsterdam. The view at the top roof is simply amazing, offering you the sunset view with a panorama view of this super vibrant city. Just give it a shot, make sure you do the reservations!

I was there a couple weeks for drinks and bites! We had a lovely time and the bartender George made us some delicious cocktails. My favorite was the Remarkable Midnight Martini - this is a must for anyone that likes an espresso martinis. For the bites, I especially loved the tofu tacos, definitely would recommend!

Had some lovely drinks at the bar. The bartender made some really nice cocktails for us based on our tastes and preference. And we had a couple delicous snacks from the restaurant that tasted amazing! Great experience!

A culinary experience like no other. The combination of flavors and food is absolutely fantastic and even without the wine pairing you can still get the full experience.

The dishes are beautifully presented using local fresh produce mixed with herbs, veggies, fruit and nuts to give you an unique sensorial experience.
Location as well is one of a kind and staff are great.

We really enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner at REM. One can see the attached six courses menu. Every course was delicious, beautifully presented and well served. We were also very thankful that our dog was allowed to enter the restaurant. The view is great and the restaurant building is very special. Definitely recommended for everyone to come and experience! Most important the service is super! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Thanks for the memorable evening. We’ll for sure come back again!

REM is a fantastic restaurant that is on the water with breath taking views . We were a group of 8 that went for the 6 course preset menu with the wine pairing and cheese platter .
The dishes were superb , a bit of a mystery until the servers tell you what you are going to have . But each of them seemed well thought about .
There is a lot of local products that are incorporated in the meals or drinks so if you seek to be amused , this is the place to be .
The restaurant was bustling with life , everything seemed full but service worked like the wheels on a clock .
Can’t recommend them more .

This place is great for a couple or large group. Lots of room to accommodate. The food was excellent and creative. It’s a quick ride from city centre but not walkable.

The bartender George was AMAZING! Great recs for drinks and food. The experience was amazing. Definitely visit here if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be coming back!

What an amazing way to dine! The food is really top tier, and so are the views. We were blown away by their six-course tasting menu and wine pairing. So much creativity in their dishes. The structure is beautiful inside. I'm so glad they repurposed it like they have. It was a very memorable experience.

Went there to celebrate my mom’s 50th birthday. We went for a 5 course chef menu. The food was top notch, it can be a bit blend for some for but for us it was perfect. The biological rose was very refreshing. The view is nice, you can see the sun setting down slowly.

The only remark I have is that I requested beforehand for a little surprise candle/fire work at the dessert on the table, but the staff unfortunately forgot. They did eventually made up for it and gave us the little firework and treat us some nice tea.

Overall great food, friendly staff, good service! Definitely worth the value, I come again!

We had the 7 course menu with the wine pairing and it was super delicious. They accommodated our dietary restrictions with a super delicious vegetarian dish for the first course and a great Dutch wine. Overall an amazing experience.

Natural, Vegetable, Well-balanced

It was a fantastic experience in a unique and wonderful place. The food is all soft and has a natural flavor. You have implemented the menu with the original taste of the ingredients. In particular, you emphasized “vegetable” as the basics of color, taste, and texture. It was so good. This was my first visit to the Netherlands, and I will visit again next time. Don't lose your original intention.

We were truly pampered with an excellent selection of wines, including an exquisite red wine from Hilversum. The surprising 5-course menu, curated by the chef, was a delight for the taste buds. Personally, I absolutely loved the calf sweetbread, but the mackerel with egg was also fantastic. The main course of Dutch duck was delicious as well, with perfectly balanced flavors and a beautiful presentation. It was truly breathtaking, both in terms of the meal itself and the overall experience.

Of course, such an incredible experience comes with a price, but believe me, it's worth every penny. The location of the restaurant is absolutely unique and offers a stunning view of the Houthaven, Amsterdam-Noord, and 't IJ. It's a setting that makes the entire experience even more special. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. They contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Without a doubt, this restaurant is one of the best places to spend your last night in the city. I would even dare to say that it's difficult to find something comparable in terms of price and quality elsewhere in Amsterdam. Although Helling 7 (on the other side of 't IJ) comes close in terms of the same quality and experience.

The only minor drawbacks were the bread served beforehand, which had a bit too much lemon, and the dessert made with cow's milk. The odd texture, despite the interesting presentation in the form of a pink pot resembling a female nipple. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.
