Oscar Bakery in Haarlem is an absolute gem! Their products are simply top-notch. Whenever you're in Haarlem, this place is a must-visit. My personal favorites are their delicious cookies (koeken in Dutch) and the heavenly olive bread. One thing to keep in mind is that these goodies can be in high demand and might sell out quickly, so it's a good idea to go earlier in the day. But honestly, I'm not surprised at all because everything they bake is incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Don't miss out on this bakery when you're in Haarlem!

The croissant and the coconut puff were heaven on earth, sinply incredible. I found the perfect croissant in Netherlands. The coconut little cake was both melting in your mouth and keeping some of the delicious crunchiness. The typical pie with meat, that I can't recall the name was not for my taste, but I could appreciate the quality of the pastry and meat and the combination. Very recommended.

On the hunt for some breakfast and my husband came back with these. They are absolutely tasty! Very fresh and I loved the croissants; just the perfect amount of soft and crispy.

Was passing through Haarlem and went to the first bakery that appeared to have freshly made croissants(not as common as one would like in the Amsterdam area). This was jackpot. The Madelines are excellent too.

I’ve been living in the Netherlands for a few years, and if there’s one think I have really missed is the hard crust sourdough bread I grew up with and love. Dutch bread is in general so different from that... I’m so happy that Oscar boulangerie has opened in Haarlem! I can notice the difference immediately just from how heavy a loaf of your bread feels in my hands and the taste is just heavenly! 🙏🏼

Great artisan bakery. Everything is organic/bio and I’m told it’s also hand made. The smell as you walk into the shop is exactly what a great bakery should smell like. I tried croissants, baguettes, ciabatta rolls, apple crumble mini cake and a smallish round bread and all tasted great.

Oscar is a beautiful small bakery with really rustic and traditional sourdough breads, as well as yeast breads, and delicious pastries. Each time I have visited, the staff is exceptional and very warm and ready to talk about what they are selling. American style customer service, and a cozy little shop. Love it.

Best bakery in the whole city of Haarlem and further. Taste is amazing and they are not greedy on butter when it comes to making croissants and pains au chocolat !! Which is rare. On top of it, very friendly employees.

The best bread in Harlem, the red velvet and oatmeal chocolate cookies are divine! The spelt bread is amazing, the epi baguette also ☺

Nice sweets—it’s said it’s made with sourdough but bread is lightweight. A big variety kind personnel.

Sourdough bread is their specialty and it's delicious! Treat yourself to a pain aux raisins or an oat cookie and you know you're in heaven.
