Koekela Rotterdam

Sugar-licious!!! This place smells heavenly. You should visit this place multiple times to figure out your fav sweet but if you are visiting for just one time then go for date cheesecake. I never knew such thing existed but it was DELICIOUS.

One of the best cake places in Rotterdam. First time I had it was a friend brought a couple slices of cheesecake for dinner, just the plain cheesecake and it was amazing. Then another friend had it for their birthday, blueberry cheesecake, amazing too. This time we ended up going there, we got a Naked Chocolate Cake, a slice of Carrot Cake, and some chocolate chip cookies. Everything was amazing as always, just the chocolate chip cookies, I would have liked it to be softer. Overall super good place and I will be returning to get more.

Pretty good and very filling cakes - we tried the lime pie and the natural baked cheesecake and both were nice.
Coffee is also not bad; a cute spot for an afternoon date!

What a gem of a place Koekela is!! A surreal experience of having some of the most delicious cakes ever.

Coming to the café itself, it is tiny but very welcoming. The service is very good!

The cakes, to be honest, you won't regret getting anything on the menu, however, the carrot cake is a must try. I have never had such an amazing carrot before.

Cherry on top, it is affordable! And is worth a visit if you live anywhere in the Netherlands!

Perfect place to have a break and get some sweets. The choices out of cookies, bars, brownies and cakes are unmatched, the quality of those goodies are too. Super sweet place and service, ready to take every order and wish with a smile.

For sure one of the best places in Rotterdam for a sweet. They have plenty of options for all the tastes.

The prices are good as well, considering that you are downtown of Rotterdam.

Great bakery, one of my favorite spot to hang out after a shopping session! The staff is friendly, the pastries are great and you have two or three vegan options (the paleo blondie is my go to)! So that's cool! For the non vegans, I warmly recommend the Lime Pie 😍😋

The service is fast and the personeel is very polite. The cakes are tasty and at an adequate price, I paid around 4€ per piece, I am definitely coming back to “Koekla” to buy some sweets.

Cosy café with delicious desserts!

This cafe is a coffee and apple pie haven.The real star, though, is the apple pie, it was flaky crust, spiced apples, and the perfect balance of sweetness.

Great place for pastries, cakes and cookies. If you have a sweet tooth you definitely want to check this place out. Keep in mind that they are usually busy, especially in weekends, so you'll probably have to wait in the queue. Pro tip: order online for in-store pickup and skip the queue. Koekela has a respectable amount of vegan options as well.

Delicious cakes and refreshing coffee. However the seating is limited, but once you are seated then amazing cakes, sweets, and beverages await you. The high tea is highly recommended.
