Room Mate Aitana

A very nice hotel. Despite the fact that some renovation is underway, the staff is trying their best, and we got rooms with great views.
A very good breakfast is a strong point of Room Mate hotels (we were also in Rotterdam at their hotel).
Hotels are worth the money.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, especially when staying in a suite! I went here for my honeymoon last year and was amazed at how big the room was--we loved the floor-to-ceiling windows, the massive soaking tub and the comfy bed. This is a quick walk to Centraal, making it a great location for exploring Amsterdam. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the city--and also recommend grabbing a bagel and coffee for breakfast next door, or renting a bike from the bike shop across the street!

The hotel's location is outstanding, situated near the heart of the city and in close proximity to Central Station. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself has a fresh and modern appearance.

We were looking for a more modern hotel with good views in Amsterdam, which was convenient to the city, and the Room Mate Aitana definitely fulfilled that purpose. We were arriving into Amsterdam before check in, but the staff were very accommodating and we were able to access our room quickly, which we appreciated. We were visiting Amsterdam as part of a trip for our 10 year anniversary, and we were very impressed when our room was decorated in celebration of this – a lovely touch! Our room had a lovely view across the city and was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself was very modern and well equipped. We had a drink at the iDock bar which had a good selection of drinks and was very reasonably priced. There was a good selection of food at breakfast, including hot items and a nice selection of breads. At the end of our stay, we had an issue with making an appointment due to our own poor planning, however the staff were very helpful in trying to resolve this for us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a modern but convenient hotel in Amsterdam.

The one feature that stood out the most of this place is its location and proximity to everything Amsteradam . We hardly had to take a cab for any of our visits to in and around the city. The stretch of walk from the hotel to Central Amsteradm is wonderful set against the water scenery. As for the rooms , they were spacious with good views and service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was commendable too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was huge (especially compared with most EU rooms), and it was really comfy as well. The shower water pressure was good and the giant bath was very nice!

The staff was really friendly and they helped us with anything we needed help with.

I will say that the location is not ideal. Basically anywhere you want to go is a 15 minute walk minimum (outside of the few small shops right next to the hotel). This includes Centraal Station, which is where all the busses and trams leave from to get to the other parts of town. We didn't mind too much as we like to walk, but it could be a deal breaker for some people.

Just got home after a lovely stay at this hotel for my mums birthday.The hotel didn’t disappoint! We travelled on the Eurostar and we were within walking distance to the hotel. The hotel was in a great location for visiting everything we had planned & we walked just about everywhere.We had to use the metro to visit WONDR but Francesco (on the hotel reception desk) gave us written instructions on how to get there and was really really helpful and very friendly.

We found the family room very clean & spacious and the view was beautiful.

Overall we would recommend staying at this hotel, food & drinks were great and the staff were all really nice and helpful.

Everything about our stay had been positive the room is clean and comfortable all the staff I have come in contact with have been so helpful so much so that I had no charger for my phone none of the ones they had done so a staff member gave me hers . It is so nice to meet such nice people top marks

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, we slept like babies! It is a perfect hotel for visiting Amsterdam, a perfect balance between being close to the central station (from where you can move anywhere) but being in a calm environment where you can rest away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Stayed here for three nights with my wife and 2 old. Used it as a base to explore the city, and if was perfect. The room was amazing, with floor to ceiling windows and a great view of the dock. Bar and restaurant on site which is fab too. Room was huge, with loads of space for my toddler to play - cot was provided. The bed was super comfortable and gave us a great night's sleep. Mini bar in the room was well stocked, beers spirits and snacks, all reasonably priced. Rooms were made up each day too. Extra mention for the shower, was a massive fan! Was amazing, large and hot water. Staff were all super nice as well. Hotel is approx 10 mins walk from Central, not too bad, but not the place to stay if you want to be in the middle of all the action. Some great bars and restaurants nearby though. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel offers a convenient walking distance to Central Station, making it ideal for travelers. Additionally, the delightful breakfast provided adds a perfect start to the day, enhancing the overall experience. It's become our go-to place.

Had a great stay here for a few nights. Only 15min walk from central station making it easy to pick up trams and trains. Also an easy walk into the centre. Rooms are a great size and we had a lovely bath and shower in our room. Would stay again.

Room was big and clean with nice view. Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and with various choices. A bit far from city center, but not too bad (10-15 min walk)

Very good hotel with very friendly staff. Housekeeping was excellent. I would absolutely stay here again when I come back to Amsterdam.

We had a fabulous time here. Very close to main train station, and popular tourist attractions. Our room was huge with a fully stocked fridge. Breakfast was very nice also. I would like to mention the guy on front desk, such a pleasure to deal with. Only downside are the lifts are very slow.

The hotel lobby is very artistic. Room were big and the location were perfect right on the water. I would recommend it 💯!
