Clean, safe, and friendly to out-of-towners. Better bread and fresher produce than what we get in the States. Americans: don't forget to bring your own bags or buy them at the register. There are no plastic bags. Dutch people care about the environment. :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything is very well organized inside the store, you will navigate your way inside the store easily and you will not have any problems finding the things you are looking for. If it happens that you cannot find something what you are searching for, there are a staff members a around the store who will gladly help you and answer your questions. 🙂

It's just a good quality supermarket.
The nr 1 supermarkt from the Netherlands, after that it's Jumbo, Dekamarkt, Liddle.
Albert Hein is a bit more expensive than the other supermarkets I mansioned.
But not much more in general.
I'm going here now for like 6 weeks, I moved from Amsterdam west to South East like 6 weeks ago. Since the beginning I'm going to this Albert Hein, and I like it. Quality is always good but there is just like a good vibe, nice personnel. For me ; Albert Hein is my nr 1 supermarket from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Ultra convenient and lots of variety. They also have a counter for bol.com returns, atm and public transport card top up.

Ah is the best supermarket in town. Get the AH basic if you're on a budget or just go nuts if you're rich.
