Von Dice hotel

What a great space!! Definitely a lot of internal stairs, so don’t book if you don’t get around easily. We loved the decor, the SUPER comfy bed, and the great shower. Also LIMITLESS hot water was great. Super quiet neighborhood, lots of great biking areas nearby and also a large park. It was a lovely touch to find delicious chocolates left for us in the room as a gift…they were so yummy!! We loved the area and our stay overall!

A couple of cons: the bathroom is pretty exposed to the bedroom, so doing your business can be a bit awkward even if you’re with your spouse…my spouse and I don’t do usually ALL our business in front of each other lol. Another small con is being on the outskirts of town. It’s about a 12 min walk to the tram/bus stop so not awful, but with the convenient parking spot at the hotel, we regretted not renting a car. If you have a car, don’t hesitate! We took a couple of Ubers and it was only about 15 mins to downtown.

A hidden gem just outside the city center of Amsterdam. Something pretty unexpected and a great experience. The building was a sludge return pumping station and the owners renovated it into a super sustainable and luxurious one room hotel.

There is a cozy dinner area were we sat the most with some wine and ordered good food from the restaurants near by. Due to covid we couldn't get out for dinner but there was no need for! There is a big JBL box available where we could listen to music and enjoy our food.

There are two electric bikes that you can use to bike to the city which is super close. We had rain all weekend long so we stayed in and played the different cardboard games that are available in the hotel.

My favorite area is the shower. You have full privacy but it feels like you are showering in the middle of the nature due to the material use. The shower is a rain shower with power which was so comfortable.

We definitely had two good nights of sleeps in the gigantic 2 by 2m bed.

All by all everything was perfect! Would definitely advice anyone to visit.

Verry nice hotel

Wat hebben wij genoten van ons verblijf! Een voormalig slibvijzelgemaal omgebouwd tot hotel(kamer). Het is echt heel speciaal. Alles is tot in de puntjes uitgewerkt. Ik houd ervan! Wij hadden geweldig mooi weer en hebben dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van de fietsen die klaar stonden. Fietsen is toch echt de beste manier om Amsterdam (verder) te ontdekken. Dit hotel is 100% een aanrader!

Het meest bijzondere één kamerhotel van Amsterdam! Zelf heb ik al heel wat van de wereld mogen zien en heb het voorrecht in hele bijzondere hotels en lodges te zijn verbleven. Ik was erg onder de indruk van het hotel, geschiedenis, de details, uitvoering, alles klopt en drukt een hele grote stempel op duurzaamheid! Wat een bijzonder stukje Amsterdam! Nog een leuk feitje: Europa's grootste skatepark ligt op steenworp afstand, met veel buitensport veldjes (voetbal, basketbal, atletiek) en grote speeltuin.
Wij zijn de nieuwe ambassadeurs, een dikke aanrader!

Fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit unieke en mooie hotel. Zeer goed bed, hoge kwaliteit van materialen en alles is tiptop geregeld. Met de fiets sta je zo in het centrum. Voor een unieke ervaring raad ik het hotel zeker aan!

Zelden zo'n bijzonder en mooi hotel gezien, op een plek waar je het niet verwacht. Je staat aan de ene kant in het wuivende riet, aan de andere kant reis je in tien minuten naar het centrum. Top!

Wat een verrassing om hier binnen te stappen. Zo stijlvol en gezellig ingericht, fantastisch bed, heerlijke douche, woorden te kort om dit te omschrijven. Ga het ervaren!!

The stay is having design problem. The 2 other beds are not accessable through walking but crawling!!!

I had it booked through bookingdotcom I feel I got misleaded. I ended up cancelling the booking upon arrival and to find another stay.
