Bastion Hotel Amsterdam Noord

Me and my friend checked in on the 11th of December, as soon as we arrived we are greeted by a lovely lady who tells us our room has been upgraded from comfort to deluxe. The service was excellent and we had no issues with any of the staff. Our favorite manager was Lucas, such a nice man and we had many great talks together at the bar. The location of this hotel is about 15 minute walk from the metro station, but you can also take a bus closer by. The food at the hotel is also not bad and decent for the price.

Great welcome experience, easy check in proceedure, room/beds very comfortable, nice shower and bathroom, desk, and coffee pod machine. Worth the price - it is a 30 minute walk from the A'Dam Lookout - which is fine for us as the weather was great - but be prepared if distance is too much to get a taxi or bus service which is on the road next to the hotel. (didn't hear any noise as not a massively busy road).

Marcel really went above and beyond. I would come back just to see him again! Hotel is in a good location. 15 minute walk from the train station or 15 minute Uber. We felt safe during our stay!

Very nice hotel for the price, clean, good service and lovely breakfast. Short Metro ride into the city center. Quiet neighborhood with a bus stop 5 minutes away.

Hotel as a hotel it is solid 3, but the personal is the best in the world! Thank you Marcel, Junior, Muhammad, Lucasz and all others! You are the best!

It's only a 20 minute walk to The Kromthoul so this hotel is well located for that. The food is good. It is varied, cooked fresh and tastes nice. I can also personally the Juliper beer 🍻🍺! I thought breakfasts were very good. I can see some people have reviewed harshly - it is a continental style breakfast with some hot accompanying foods like small sausages, bit of bacon and boiled eggs. Staff will also cook a fresh omelette if requested. Coffee was particularly nice I thought too.

Staff were fantastic, all friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the manager Stephanie who did her best to help me with my charging problems with my UK travel adapter. Above and beyond expected help and service

Room was clean and tidy and bed very comfortable offering a good night's sleep. Handy after the 🍻 😀

I stayed at the Bastion Hotel with my friend and we had a wonderful stay, Lucas and Khan were so friendly and made our stay so great, I would definitly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to go to a hotel that has staff that make you feel welcome and at home. Few nights in this hotel due to nearby job.

It's definitely out of town, but easy to reach by taxi. Supermarket and shopping mall within 10 walk.

Friendly staff did their best to help us. I got a large room with modern bathroom and a soft comfy bed. Breakfast was good.

Dinner was ok. Huge portions!

Service was amazing, we had marcel as host and really enjoyed his energy! Loved staying here thanks!

This is an incredible hotel! Very clean! Friendly and understanding staff who are always ready to help. Insanely delicious food and a good drink at the bar.

By the way, this hotel is very close to the center of Amsterdam.

good location, children friendly, and nice staffs. The receptionist Lucas is very friendly to answer all the questions and the needs we required.

The accommodation was great, and Lucas and the team were super helpful, making the stay a breeze!

Just simply use public transport £9/day.
Car park not that expensive around £7/day.
Friendly staff
Room are big enough
Only a bit expensive, paid £400 for 2 nights, well it’s Saturday and Sunday

Fine hotel to stay a night. Very affordable for Amsterdam standards. Super service with free coffee and croissants while restaurant was closed. Very nice, thank you !!

Very friendly and welcoming staff and nice, clean, quiet rooms. The blackout curtains are the best I’ve ever encountered and I could easily sleep here all day if I wasn’t careful. Bus stop is close by and gets you to the metro in 5 mins.

Great service and amazing staff. Hotel room was great and was easy to get into central via the train station near by.

We just checked in and I write this review. We came to early and the rooms normally were not ready. We were so tired after a long journey and Julia from the reception called the roommate and get us the three rooms that were already clean. This is not normal and so kind from the stuff of the hole hotel. Thank you for your hospitality. Even our grumpy group member was not grumpy enough to get Julia out of the range.

Amazing place. It's a short bus ride and metro to the centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Which is something you take for granted until you're a tourist in another country. Huge relief that the staff was able to help myself and my friends staying with directions to where we needed to go. The room was immaculate. Definitely staying here again.

Small hotel at the outskirts of Amsterdam Nord, but very well connected by bus (and ferry). Clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast.
