Avondwinkel La Nuit

Great to have a nightshop open till late daily, with friendly service minded people and great variety in assortment for very reasonable prices. Very recommendable :)

Excellent night super market. Of courses are a bit higher, but hey, at least you get bear and chips in the night.

Als je 's nachts ineens trek krijgt in chips en een biertje dan is het toch wel erg handig dat La Nuit bestaat.

Ideal for tourists too: fancy a pack of crisps and a pint but all supermarkets are closed? La Nuit's existence comes in handy in such cases.

Eens met onderdstaand! Zeer redelijke prijzen, natuurlijk wel wat duurder, maar dat kun je ook verwachten. En een goed assortiment! Zelfs Grolsch beugels!

The staff was friendly and when at night you still felt some touch with humanity. Since the building is old the shop is quite crowded and the atmosphere is like in that remote, tiny gas station you see in movies sometimes.
The prices are a little exaggerated. They are fine if you REALLY crave that product at the moment but it is still worth it to buy the same things in Lidl or Albert Heijn to prepare for that night loneliness attack where you really crave some chocolate.
Since I did not see any prices anywhere online some examples are:
A bag of Lays chips (215 g) is 3 euros. LU Petit Ecolier is 3.15.
It is to be expected from a night shop to be more expensive but I feel it could go 50 cents-1 euro cheaper and made more profit from the quantity sold.
