Black Bikes looked after us on our recent trip to Amsterdam. As a family of four with a young one who we were nervous about riding the team gave us some options for us and we were comfortable with the bike with a cart for her. The bikes were in great condition and the locks worked well. Thank you!

Really liked the guys working at the shop. Very friendly and helpful on advice on how to purchase a bike and which one. Then had my service done. Not cheap, but I guess that's to be expected from an A location and inflation. Hope they pay their incredible staff well enough and management is not taking all of it home ;)

Update: Just brought my bike since by back wheel was a bit wobbly (not b/o the earlier repairs they did, just simple wear and tear). They were so kind to fix it - for free! Changed my review to five stars.

My wife and I went to your shop last week to buy some bikes. We were welcomed by a young French trainee who gave us some very good advice. We ended up buying 2 bikes, which we're very happy with.

I went there yesterday to buy a bike, a French guy took care of me, was very nice and had a great bike knowledge and made it super easy and clear! I think is name is Leo so if you want to buy a bike and have great advice I highly recommend this place and especially Leo!

My chopper bike has complex Schram 5 gears. Sometimes, when people kick over my bike for instance, those gears are completely messed up. And to me they're to complex to reset. So I went here to see if they could help out. And they did. Not like 'pick your bike up next week' but almost immediately! I only had to wait a bit. And they didn't charge me anything! That's what I call service! Nice shop too. Lots of bikes to choose from if you are looking for one. From very ugly and modern to nice cool vintage looking. And their opening hours are great, until 8pm during the week and 7pm on Saturday. Nice.

We have been in several times to service our Urban Arrow (not purchased there) and each time we do, the service is quick and reasonably priced. On one or two occasions they even fixed minor issues for free on the spot. We were hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews but we've only ever had positive experiences.

Not sure how the low star reviews had that experience. I have walked in many about 3 times now with issues for my gears and brakes, all three times the fixed the issue within 10 minutes and without any charge.

Yesterday had my flat tire fixed, brought it in late afternoon friday and it was ready sunday afternoon, for 12.50. Also they don't push a sale when looking for a new bike and test drive whatever bike you want. Yes, it is usually a busy shop but the service more than makes up for it in my opinion.

Best bikes in the City, very convenient and comfortable, the staff was really nice and I had so much fun riding the bikes👍 10/10
