Great bread and selection of it, but what I’m really always coming back for are the pastries. My favorite ones are the little peer tart and then the custard and raspberry one. I’d also get my occasion cakes here (and then eat way too much of them because they’re just so crazily tasty :)

Where Vlaamsch Broodhuys shines is with their freshly baked breads and pastries. Huge, thick and delicious. It’s my go-to bakery for when I’m preparing a fancier breakfast for guests or a special occasion. The cinnamon buns and little singe portion cakes are excellent. I also can highly recommend their spreads: the truffle-egg and “boeren” chicken are my personal favorite.

The place on Nachtegaalstraat also has some lovely tables outside, perfect to enjoy the late morning/early afternoon sun.

In addition to being a great bakery, it also serves as a cafe and patisserie, offering delicious foods and desserts. An ideal place to enjoy quality time with your family or friends.

One of the nicest and authentic looking bakery in Utrecht. Great for bread, pie and cookies. Has a very cozy Cafe in the back. Perfect for breakfast or coffee between the groceries.

Sandwich with beef was great, especially the sauce that comes with the sandwich was beyond great. I will come again for high tea.

Such a lovely place, their high tea is over the top! And you can reserve an area to host a group activity and they even let you decorate. We did a babyshower and I reccommend it to anyone who is interested in hosting a birthday brunch/babyshower/bridal lunch. 100%!!!

Wonderful store for organic bread, pastries etc. Also a great place for breakfast and lunch. Due to the high quality, their pricing is rather steep.
