We researched prior to our visit, as we were traveling SEAsia, we watched a few videos via YouTube and we were so happy with our experience. We did 4.5 hours and could have easily done more, but we had other plans that day too. The staff were helpful, professional and well trained. Fun was the major aim, but the importance of safety was clearly important.
Lockers were secure, cheap and straightforward to use, we were able to stay in the shade for a majority of the time and the rides were varied, well maintained and exciting.

Will happily go again.

Had great and exhilarating fun here, can come here if you always wanted to try extreme type activities also being surrounded by greenery of the rain forest.
There are two sections, for dry and wet activities each.
Tickets are to be bought online and before the day you enter, need to register your face as to enter the premise is based on facial recognition system.
For food availibilty, there is only A&W available.
Facilities such as lockers with cashless payment option and renting wears are available.
Please read the rules and regulation from their website before coming. It will help you plan better.

An amazing day out as backpackers! Yes this was a more expensive excursion but compared to UK theme/water parks, it was worth every penny! We arrived at opening and stayed until close, really making the most of the whole experience. The staff was informative, friendly and helpful, especially when I got stuck on the high ropes! All the activities were so fun and incredibly safe! A highly enjoyable day with fun for all the family!

One of the best park I visited in Malaysia. Staffs are well trained and provide good service and friendly with smiling face.

The park are well maintained and safety is priority to them. The activity are fun and really challenging and exciting. Prices includes all the basic items for the activity. Locker price is reasonable. Food only with A & W and slightly pricey.

Most places are shaded with trees. But it is still recommended to cover yourself with sun blocks cream as some activity are not covered.

Overall a great experiences for me and my family. Keep up the good work and maintain this well!

Had a fantastic time here. Came with a friend. There are so many activities to do both wet and dry. Would recommend obviously to dress appropriately for both. Bring a towel!! I forgot mine and although you can rent there I ended up drying with a t shirt.

Extreme park activities range from easy to hard and appropriate for all ages and skills

Wet park activities are similar although I found most of the younger participants were more extreme and daring than the older ones.

All in all a fantastic place to go to when in pennang and have a day to kill. Be mindful of the queues. Yes some are excessive but you can always just go elsewhere and come back to that attraction when the queues die down.

A must see and 'do'....even if you don't like heights like me! So much to choose from. My son had a blast, and I challenged my fear of heights. Arrive at opening time 10am to make the most of all the attractions. Set in the jungle, it is truly amazing.

There are so many activities here and it’s highly recommended to come before the opening time at 10am to start waiting for entrance. Pre plan on which ride/activities you want to try. Get a locker first as it’s limited. Also would recommend that you queue up for the Zip Coaster once you enter as the line and wait for it is the longest.

As expected from escape, definitely a place for thrill seekers as almost all the rides give you adrenaline rush! Queue was okay as I went on friday and saturday. Staff are also very nice and responded very well to inquiry.

Above all, I would like to elaborate more on their base campsite and package. Place was clean, and lots of tents you can chose from, washroom’s queue can take some time as you will share it with all other visitors, but you can opt to use it after 6pm, after all you will be sleeping in, surau/musolla is small but enough, lots of sockets to charge, has water dispenser and congkak/carrom provided.

The staff at base camp are ALL very nice and accommodating, one of the staff Eunrose guided us from the start until the next day, and even entertain us with his hula hoops skills, as there were limited activities to do at night time, while other visitors had karaoke session as there were pa system there. Overall experience was very good!

I would def come again (if my heart and fitness allow lol).

Best place to experience dry & wet games altogether! But due to limited time, tak sempat nak main semua games :,)
Make sure to buy your ticket online, you need to upload your selfie afterwards. Admission very effortless sebab sana pakai facial scan ,so you don’t have to wear wristband anymore!
Read and dress accordingly to the policy too, kalau tak you will need the buy/rent the proper clothing~
Pls be aware that some attraction may need you to wait for 30min-1hour (or longgger) due to the nature of the games ✌🏻
Lastly, manage your time wisely so that you are able to play all the games and attractions!

ESCAPE Penang offers a thrilling adventure with diverse activities like longest zip coaster and water slide in the world and also obstacle courses. The friendly staff and well-maintained facilities contribute to an enjoyable experience, making it a worthwhile visit for adventure enthusiasts. Got dry and wet course. Dry course got many interesting activities compared to wet. Not much food offered (A&W Restaurant).

the park is split to dry and wet park. from my experience, i would recommend to go in swimsuit and do the wet activities first then eat lunch and shower+change to dry clothes then do dry activities because most of the ppl would do dry then wet but if you do wet then dry the queue will be shorter for most activities and during closing time you wont have to queue for toilet and shower.
i wouldn't recommend to do the zip coaster unless the queue is very short because it take very long and wastes a lot of time.
the longest waterslide had very short queue for most of the time and it is quite fun so i would recommend to do it a few times if you have extra time.
for monkey business, if you aren't that scared of height and are decently fit you should try level 3 because it really isn't that hard as it seems and if you go to lvl 1 and 2 there might be a lot of slower ppl in front of you and then you will have to wait which is a waste of time. even if you go to lvl 3, u should try to go to the path with no ppl so you could keep going without waiting.
tubby racers was also quite fun especially the first part where it goes quite fast. the queue for this ride also is quite short for most of the time. and you should tie your shoes tight because the shoe of the person in front of me went flying and i have no clue if he got it back😬 .
the rest of the water activities such as normal waterslide, kid pool, inflatable obstacle course(very fun) was quite fun too.
another thing is that for the zip coaster, longest waterslide, and tubby racer, you need to take a chairlift up the mountain which takes about 3 mins-ish. and it usually has a short queue. for the zip coaster you need to queue and wear a harness first at the bottom of the crossover stairs then take a chairlift up to the starting point where you might have to queue again. and for the longest waterslide, you need to carry your tubby and queue for the chairlift then hold it as you go up the chairlift. but for tubby racers you dont need to hold anything just go up the chairlift.
to be honest there are so many attractions and rides i want to try but didn't have enough time even though i came from 10am-6pm(the whole operation hours)so you should really plan your trip well and if the queue for a certain ride is too long, just go do something else first and come back later, its not worth the wait(i waited 2 hours for zip coaster and it wasnt worth it 😭)

ok this is part 2 of this review
this is my second time at escape penang already and i learned a lot from the second experience

I'm going to rate all the rides i went this time at escape. this is my honest opinion.

•adventure play (dry rides)

-monkey business
it is an obstacle which requires you to wear a harness from the harness station. the course has 3 levels. level 1 is the easiest and lowest, level 3 is the hardest.
i went to level 3 and it wasnt that scary/hard. it was the first attraction i went to in the morning right after i entered the park because the queue gets really long later in the day and the weather will be really hot in the afternoon. i think monkey business requires a bit of strength and balance and i dont recommend people who are scared of heights to do this.

-flying lemur
flying lemur is quite similar to monkey business except it is mostly ziplines and less obstacle course like. you need to walk really far back at the park to find the entrance to this and you need to hike a bit to get to the entrance. this attraction also requires you to wear a harness. there is also a part of this attraction where you would climb to the highest point of escape on a really tall tower , then you would take a zipline across. the view there was breathtaking and slightly nerve wracking as it was so high up. i would also not recommend people who are afraid of heights to do this. but overall this was one of my favorite attractions of he dry section.

Buy tickets online in advance for discount. The place is equipt with lockers. Payment can be made via tngo. Very convenient and high tech-face recognition for entry. 👍🏼

Awesome place for families to spend time and strengthen their bond. We enjoyed Monkey Business the most. Good activity to increase teamwork, trust, togetherness and to conquer one's fear. Wear a pair of aqua shoes and you will be able to enjoy both dry & wet park.

Must try the highest lane in flying fox, zip coaster and skiing if never try in real one before.

Suggest to go those popular one first, or can go water park first in morning, and try the adventure part in afternoon.

It was really cool and amazing. I met a new friend from other country that visited Escape penang. It was nice to met them, also they are really pretty. I hope I can met them again. I goes this Escape penang for my last school in Kedah. This is just an holiday. Anyways, thank you so much. This escape penang was really cool and a little bit dangerous but still awesome! 💗💗💗

Really enjoyed my day today coming back to escape Penang. The ride selection is very impressive and they are all very fun. There is multiple world record holders with 1.1km zip coasters and waterslide. The only downside is the food, was the longest line of the day and the only option was A&W with a very small menu. The staff were also awesome and wanting to give you a great experience and help you out. Thanks escape for another great day. Best place in Penang!!!

4. Merchandise is not overpriced.
5. They had an A&W restaurant inside the park, and the price was not expensive. Normal price.
6. Costa coffee machine
7. Their staffs are so professional. Kudos to the management team; they had a great team with excellent customer service skills.

Overall, me and my kids are so happy with this short escape here. Value for money. It's worth it, even though we have to pay nearly RM600 for the entry ticket.

It’s really fun playing the rides here. If you are a plus size person you might want to check all the weight and height limit of the games first. Most games wont allow person more than 100kg to play. Be mindful that you will also have to wear harnesses and heavy carabiner so that also add up to your weight. If you are going with friends, zip coaster can go 2 person in a ride with combine weight not more than 180kg. Slingshot, aerobat, flying fox also have weight limit of 100kg. They will check your weight before allowing you to play for safety reason. You can bring water bottle inside. If you don’t want to rent the locker inside, you could put your stuff in the car so you might want to park near to entrance. Wear aqua shoes bcs you could play wet rides and extreme activities without have to change your shoes.

Great fun! Staff are very friendly, especially Ali, who went above and beyond with the customer service/assistance. Only downside is that it’s rather expensive; but in my opinion it is totally worth it if you use the whole day!

Spectacular experience! Enjoyed the adrenaline rush of zip line coaster and 1.1m water slide. Monkey business level 2 were challenging but we made it! Had the most amazing memories with my friends. Best to visit during weekdays as the crowd were not too crazy. Staff were friendly too. Can’t wait to visit again in the near future 🤗 and will definitely bring a sports gloves to protect our hands!
