Bahang Bay Hotel

This is my 4th time here. My favourite thing about Bahang Bay is the atmosphere. The location is far from attractions so it is quite serene if i could say.

The staffs are also very friendly. The breakfast has a lot of variety. The rooms are comfortable. There are also snooker table for leisure.

The hotel is easy to find, ample of parking space surrounded (with sub-basement), front desk staffs are friendly. Lift and room thru card access, room is clean, basic toiletries are provided, bed is comfortable. Took 3 meals at outside, as there's a lot of restaurants and stalls within 5 km distance this area. Overall are Good when I stayed!

Had a wonderful experience at Bahang Bay Hotel. Feels like a private getaway far from everyone. Staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and cool. Fridge will get very cold which is great. Same with ac. Have to warm it up at night. Perfect black out curtains and very quiet cleaning service in the mornings. The Beaches are close by. You can walk into the village and take a jetty as well. The bus stop and convince store are across the way. It is, however, a bit far from everything. I would suggest taking a bus into town between $2-$5 myr total for 1-2ppl depending on distance. About an hour or less ride. The roads are curvy and the bus driver will speed into corners. The night market by the beach isn't too far away either. It's definitely something you should go experience. Loved staying here. Wifi was great. Maybe if you're flying a stop over. This could be a great option as well. Strait up through the mountains from the airport.

In my experienced staying in this hotel is amazing, the hotel staff is so kind and polite. Immediately they response if you asked for extra toiletries, towels, even the water bottles free of charges..
Base on hotel location for me is better not too crowded than batu ferringhi and the beach is better more cleaner, and nature like near to the hills, looks so Peaceful and if you want to go to the beach they provide service free of charges too, and they have a bicycle for exercise arounds hotel. The food in The Restaurant is good too. many varieties of food for breakfast, so convenient stay in this hotel

As the name says, this hotel is located in Bahang Bay which is in the northern point of Penang island.
The facilities are topclass and well maintained which includes free parking, atv rental, bike rental, lifts, swimming pools, welcome drink, lobby, meeting rooms, cafe and business center.

Rooms are well designed and comfortable. Toilet is clean and nice design. Wifi is also good

Due to location outside food is far as well as sightseeing of the rest of the island. So you would stay for two reasons, 1. A conference or business meeting venue; or 2. A peacefully getaway from the hubris of the city and more congested areas of the island.
You can stay here and tour the island, but plan you itinerary properly.

Everything excellent until you realised the chef did not know how to cook sambal nasi lemak properly, its plain not much taste and u need to topup salt yourself, maybe that is why they provided salt on every dining table. 🤣

Located in teluk bahang, close to angsana bay and national park. Its not beachfront but the beach was close by. You also get the hill view &nature from the hotel. The hotel interior looks great, luxurious and clean. The room was fully carpeted even the corridors. Have swimming pool, kids room and great breakfast buffet. You can rent a bike and explore teluk bahang. Staff was curteous and always smile. Price is a total steal compared to other hotel in batu feringgi m teluk bahang. Recommended.

Great service & hospitality, great location. Only food (breakfast) is average. Overall, great experience!

Very decent 4-star hotel for the price: rooms are spacious, new and clean. A bit of nitpicking is that the rooms feel a bit dark, even with lights on. View comes with a lot of greenery.

Parking is free, both by the road side and in the basement. Do note that the location is a bit further away from Batu Ferringhi (another 10-15min drive), so if you want that bustle and activities, the place is a bit much further from that. It's actually separated from the beach by the main road. But they do provide bicycles for u to cycle there, which is kinda fun.

Area was quite peaceful. Spacious room and bathroom. Was a good stay, except that the pillows were a bit too soft for my liking. Everything else was excellent.

New hotel. Took sea view premium room. Nice

Excellent stay here,pool is save,view is awesome. We just need to cross the road to the nearby beach. Love the white sandy beach as compared to Feringhi Beach. Room is clean and the bed is super comfy! Great for short vacay

Peaceful and relax. Happy with the hotel and service. Staff were polite and I felt welcomed from the check in process until check out time. We love everything about here. We will come back, inshaAllah.

Perfect hotel near Penang National Park and ⛱.

Very nice hotel to stay in penang. A getaway from city traffic. Only drawback would be 20mins drive to town. Rooms were clean and comfy. Partial sea view and enjoyable breakfast. Swimming pool is clean. Bicycle are available for guest use. 2mins from beach. A good hotel to revisit for sure. Very friendly staff too.

We checked in between 15 - 17.12.22. Checked in process very smooth. Staff very helpful and friendly. No deposit is required. Breakfast buffet spread is awesome. Everthing is nice. Hotel location is quite far from georgetown but the nearby restaurant is at bt feringghi. The room you will get as per website picture. 2 thumbs up for Bahang Bay Hotel

I stay there for 5 days 4 night for my honeymoon. Overall was ok just a few thing that the hotel need to improve as a 4 star hotel is :

1-Floor mat need to request when i was check in there’s no floor mat and need to request.
2-The cleaner not vacuum my room everyday, just change my towel, clean up the bed and topup a toiletries & complimentary packet drinks
3-If you’re booking online even though you request the queen or king bed they will give you a twin bed, my honeymoon gonna wrong when they give me a twin bed and cannot change to other rooms.
4-The view was a mountain view (nature) but not a seaview, for sea view you need to book a room with bathtub.
5-The staff was not friendly enough, seem like they was lack of staff
6-Breakfast was very bad because everyday was a same menu, NASI LEMAK BIASA,SAUSAGE. No LAUK at all. If on that day you stay there got more 20 room / 20 people in same time they will open for buffet breakfast BUT if less then that they will give you to choose a few menu (NASI LEMAK TOO BUT WITH SMALLEST FRIED CHICKEN / OMELETTE / SAUSAGE/ MEE GORENG)
7-A lot of parking for this hotel, got basement carpark & near entrance lobby without the vallet. For peak season also you can park outside within the hotel area to avoid the police summons.
8-Lobby was clean they will prepare a drink for the customer in front of the receptionist , they got a convenient shop but still in progress to open it, got kids room for playing when parents was eating (near to the hotel buffet area)
9-Swimming pool was large & 3 size and different feet, clean and ya if you’re swimming at night time quiet darkest because they not open the sportlight (i dont know why). swimming close on 9pm.

It's a brand new hotel, rooms are quite spacious and housekeeping is good. Lots of parking both outside and basement. Just a few steps away from beach. Clean pool. Big reception area. Twelve floors total, mine's on 11th, nature view. Aircond's great, got everything a hotel can provide I guess.
