Teluk Bahang Beach

Love the fishing boats and jettis. There was a fisherman feeding cats just along the beach, which was very heart warming. Cats were very affectionate and friendly. Great for family.

First time visiting this area, located just beside Angsana Resort.
It has a public parking, toilets with Baths.
There's a small restaurant here as well, its mee udang and char kue teow was surprisingly DELICIOUS!
Beach is very clean with very little crowd.

Less crowded beach with fine sands and cool breeze. Horse riding is available RM20/ride. Ideal for romantic and family bonding. Entrance just beside Ansana and may need to give way as the passage is narrow due to arbitrary roadside parking.

My current fave beach in Penang.
You can try out some cool water sports there or ride a horse on the beach, or buy some cheap nice hats, pareo and beach toys.
Less touristy, great for the locals! Of course Angsana Hotel is sharing the public beach with us. You can simply walk to its beach bar and enjoy a mocktail if you wanna look and feel cool. Else just buy a canned drinks from the local vendors to the left of the hotel. But be sure to bring home your picnic garbage.

Teluk Bahang is a town in the Malaysian state of Penang that is part of the city of George Town. Near the northwestern tip of Penang Island, Southwest Penang Island District is home to this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many tourist attractions have been built around Teluk Bahang, initially a fishing village. The Teluk Bahang Dam, Penang Island's largest reservoir, is here. The Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve, which includes Teluk Bahang Forest Reserve, was designated by UNESCO as Malaysia's third Biosphere Reserve and is now part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

if u looking for "peace & harmony" place to stay, here it is.. the beach better than nearby attraction place.. and u can have a really delicious breakfast at Belimbing Cafe..
