Good spot for some local seafood. Did not see any menu available but was given verbal recommendations and they were all spot-on. The only complaint I've got is with the mantis prawn which tasted good but had little flesh. Recommended to try if you're in the area. Do note that there will be limited carparks on weekends and this place will typically be full during the durian season.

Food is great, valuable price, Nutmeg drink is superb.

This place was recommended by a local for dinner. It is inside the BP Views Kopitiam. The waitress who served us are courteous and got us a baby chair for our toddler. She also recommended us toddler-friendly food. While waiting, we saw many locals eating there, including a few westerners. Some big tables were reserved too. There are many food stalls which operate during the day time. Our dinner came within 10-15 mins. They were delicious and our picky toddler enjoyed them too! We ordered steamed fish, stir fried mixed veggies and onion omelette including rice at RM49 only!

Best seafood and chuchar (chinese style cooking with Wok and fire) place in Balik Pulau, fresh seafood at very affordable price, we were ordering 4 dishes: 1x meat, 2x vege and 1x seafood Tofu and it costs us less than RM100
The lady is so friendly, the place filled up quickly on weekends so if you have not done reservations better call up to reserve table, otherwise you have to be there by 6pm to ensure you get a place for dinner

Dishes were tasty and not too salty. Reasonably priced. Situated in a sheltered food court-style place with no aircon but many fans. Several other stalls at the sides that were mostly closed in the evening. Drink stall was opened.

Don’t think there’s a printed menu - good old method of ordering through one of the staff. The one who came to us was friendly and patient.

A value for money zhu-char 煮炒 restaurant. A place that me and my families will go when we back to Penang.
Please reserve if you come in big group.

Really good and delicious. Service is superb and price is reasonable. Gotta taste it to believe it. Can't recommend it enough!

Their tofu is the best, the tofu was made fresh everyday by the chief for the daily supply. And the price almost unbeatable, to eat in the town for the same kind of food from there, you will need to pay definitely a lot more.
Overall, good food with good price.

Very good seafood, with the ginger scallion fish being the star among the dishes that we ordered. The eggs and vegetables are also delicious. The price of the food is very affordable and definitely worth the money. Food came fast and extremely good service from the lady with glasses. Highly recommended for anything seafood and just general Chinese stir fry food.

Recommended by Balik Pulau locals and the only place I would go to for 煮炒 dinner in that area.
Used to be located to the right of Ceria 99 mart now they moved to the coffee shop to the left.
Recommended dish we would always ordered is the Guinness/Stout Chicken 黑狗鸡.
The Curry Fish is also great but not spicy. Last we visited they are out of fish fillet and only left with fish slices, we don't feel the difference in quality and it is easier to eat too.
Mantis Shirmp stir fried with Salted Egg is great, thier dish version looks different from other 煮炒 stall and it also tasted better.
Other than these other dish is also good like vege such as Kangkung Stir Fried with Sambal, Sambal Potato Leaves, and Claypot Tofu.
Ample carpark available in front of Ceria 99 and usually customer seldom lingers so parking spots are always available.
In the carpark there is a food truck selling fried chicken, recommended to give that a try a well, might need to queue for a bit. However the food truck was not there when we last visited.

The food is so delicious and tasty. Good place for your family and friends to get dinner together.

Food is great price is affordable n fresh seafood.

This place is awesome. The staff are super friendly and the food is amazing. There's no English menu, but we just look at what other tables order and ask for what looks good. So far our recommendations are: black dog pork ribs (or chicken or tofu if they've run out of pork ribs), hot plate tofu, clay pot tofu, chicken fried rice, bihun, ju chai Jen (excuse my dodgy spelling) and Tom yum (local style, not Thai style). The bar staff are great too and they have a pretty good selection of beer and drinks. Ask for Amoy. She's a legend!

Delicious food, value for money, sufficient parking, but may be quite crowded even on weekday nights.

Nice place to bring family for dinner but need patience to wait😊 for the food depends on time.
