Perfect spot for family dinner. They have variety choice of chinese cook. Their dish is not limited to menu. I like their fast service and kindness. The dishes are delicious and affordable. Usually having long queue as it was famous dinner spot for the locals. There are a lot of parking lots nearby. I do recommend their curry fish and charcoal homemade tofu.

We came with a group of 7. Ordered regular drinks and 4 cans of Tiger Beer.

Ordered 7 dishes and in total cost RM 183 exclude drinks.
Drinks in total cost RM53. Totalled up: RM236

We quite enjoy the food. Definitely will come again to order different kind of dishes ! Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Great job

Vegetables portion are abundance. Hardly you can find a restaurant that serves this big portion of green veges

There’s an interesting layout to the restaurant whereby you need to walk pass the kitchen and then through the backdoor for bigger table seatings. 🌝

Food: 8/10
Service: 7/10
Ambience: 7/10

My early diner features a very rare tofu…its black and the dish has a strong soy flavor. My vege was a bit too salty. For my steamed garoupa meat is a bit hard but the sauce is amazing and not oily. Its full of blended lemon grass, tumeric, ginger and onion

Absolutely a MUST go place for the public and especially the USM students. Very cheap, flavourful, great atmosphere(gonna go sit in the behind not front of the shop). Four dishes costs rm66 with chinese tea and 4 rice is definitely enough for 4 person.

This small local restaurant been around for many years, i guess at least 25 years. A favourite for usm students as well as locals. Now is managed by new owner after taking over and is running very well.
Some food need preorder 1 day ahead and the queue started about 6pm so be there early. No reservations and they dont accept table booking as is limited.
Food quality is very good and price is reasonable.
There is no aircond and a typical local streetfood stall in old time.
Payment accept cash or ewallet.

Just a neighbourhood restaurant with some rather extensive choice. We had charcoal tofu with abalone sauce and salted fish pork belly both taste amazing and appetising.

An old simple place which focus on the food, they seem specialise in pork and squid. Namyu pork is their house special. Overall great. Always crowded despite having ~20tables, food served within 30min after order. Add last star for their affordability. They have yaosamchiu (root based drinks) as well.

This restaurant is a local favourite.
Old but gold 老招牌。
Went there on a Friday, the crowd was okay, not too many people.
Ordered a few dishes, charcoal tofu, pork ribs, buttery fried river mantis, and a fish curry.
Out of all those dishes, I love the fried river mantis the most, followed by the charcoal tofu. Flavourful and nicely done.
Price is reasonable. In fact consider cheap in this economical inflation time.
Parking is not available on site. You can park nearby and walk there.
Oh yea one more thing, I am very impressed with the chef. Not only did he have good skills, he was also very polite, when we are about to leave, he even turned his head away from his work station to thank his customers. Such a humble guy.
I will revisit.

Along the busy Jalan Sungai Dua, there is this Chinese restaurant always full house during dinner time. Dishes served here are absolutely delicious, especially my favorite "Belacan Chicken" and "Charcoal Tofu". This restaurant is best for group dining and family dining. With the reasonably priced dishes and acceptable waiting time and service provided, this restaurant made it to my recommendation list for others. There is no parking in front of this restaurant as this restaurant is by the busy road side, alternative parking spot could be across the road or the nearby hypermarket.

Ordered the nam yu pork, bitter gould egg, and herbal chicken, with the barley beancurd drink. The first 2 items were very good. The latter 2 were decent. Overall, this is among the best penang places I've eaten at.
