AC Hotel by Marriott Penang

One of the best hotels I’ve seen on Penang Island! I really enjoyed my stay on the island because I stayed at this hotel and any hotel that comes under the Marriott brand always delivers an exceptional experience all around the world in my opinion! The staff members were all so friendly and welcoming and I really loved the room I stayed in as well. It was quite spacious and comfortable. The breakfast options were delicious and prepared fresh and I got to try some Malaysian delicacies as well in addition to the usual continental items. I also had their Executive Lounge’s access which was great because I could enjoy some privacy there to get some work done and there were a selection of drinks available there as well! The pool area was so huge and the views from this floor were incredible. The gym is also located on the same floor and is quite big. They had a special treat for their guests on their lobby floor where I tried Spanish Lamb Prosciutto Tapas at their AC lounge. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to Queensbay Mall which is a great service as well! Definitely a great place to stay in Penang if you’re looking for an ideal hotel that offers everything from comfort, luxury and cleanliness

stayed at the suite room with 5 people. it had 3 bedroom 3 bathroom. was very clean. also had a living room and a dining area. location wise it is slightly far away from city center but still had some hawker centers nearby. also has a gym, pool, convention center and lounge. the hotel server were polite and the service was good. if you stayed on a high floor you could actually see the penang bridge from the window

Apartment/Condominium service that provides complete facilities like a hotel. The place I stayed in has 3 rooms, there is 1 king size bed with toilet inside, 1 queen size bed with toilet inside & 1 single bed with toilet outside. There is a living room, a dining room, a laundry room and a balcony if you want to see the atmosphere. I'm not sure about the price because it's free from my cousin. 😬 (didn't have time to take photos/videos of this place because I was busy with the wedding ceremony)

I like it all. May repeat next time to try the pool! Went there for work purposes thus no time to explore much on hotel facilities but definitely service is tiptop. I arrived at the hotel at 1AM and still had someone greet me and assess me to my room. Appreciate every bit of it

Rented a room for 6. Rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of eateries for breakfast around the hotel. Overall i liked the experience. Pool operating hours should be extended. The loud dance music at the gym is quite annoying though.

The only hotel in PG under Marriott that has 3 bed room suite. It's actually an extended condo building converted next to the hotel building. Check in process could take quite a while. MY Marriott hotels are still not tech advanced, they never check and don't get the room ready when customer check in in Bonvoy app. It would make the whole experience more seamless by getting ready after customers hv done mobile check in, just hand over the key when customers arrive at the counter. Since I booked bed room suite, it's at different building, so get to level 2 and walk some distance passing the gym, pool, executive lounge before reaching another lift lobby to the suite. Everything was well maintained, clean and bright. Water pressure was strong for a good rain shower. Staff were friendly. 2 complaints though, no lift from basement car park, so make sure drop luggage at lobby before drive to park. And recommend to book lower floor when book the suite. There are lots Genset and cell tower on top of the hotel building, the noise is noticeable on condo suite building and could be unbearable for some . My suite was at level 23, could hear it but no effect on me as I m easy sleeper no matter how noisy lol

I was looking around hotels around Bayan Lepas area for the upcoming company's event last week. It was my first time to the AC Hotel by Marriot after they took over in 2020. I met Ms Cai (from Sales) and she was very helpful with my queries and has excellent PR skills. I was impressed and touched by the hospitality shown by her and the hotel staff throughout the site visit. Keep it up!

Rooms are large and comfy! They are really clean too, great for business stay. There’s also free basement parking, just validate before you exit.

Can cater for one individual up to family with apartment unit. I've been staying here many year already. Great stay. If need to eat one of the best nasi kandar in Penang, the Original Kayu, it's a stone throw away, 5mins walking time.

When arrive hotel just tap at entry tngo card immediately arrive at lobby hotel. Drop our luggage then find a parking onside building or in basement.

Reception services very good and welcome me with marriot bonvoy member platinum. Get upgrade to suites room.

Me and family dont take bfast so i cannot reviews about bfast buffet.

When check out very fast and smooth. Validate your card bfore bring out the car. I make one round hotel to the lobby hotel for put luggage but no need to validate second time for short entrance.

Excellent hotel- great when Vistana and even better now in its latest incarnation. Attentive professional service all around. Special shout-out to Shahriar for the warmest of smiles every time we step through the door. The area? major drawcard for us. Still carries that authentic flavour of fast disappearing ‘old KL’ Public transport? Bus- monorail LRT all a stone throw from the property. Many more returns.

Nothing much around hotel area but very easy to get a Grab .

It's located outside the busy main road, but it is still convenient if you're travelling by car. There are restaurants, convenient store nearby which make it easier to find food 24/7. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, it came together with small living room and dining area. Suitable for a small family.

The place is 15 min from Bayan Lepas Airport n 15 min from Queensbay Mall..very nice business hotel with swimming pool n gym at level 2..room is nice n comfy..staff is so good n great customer service..good job..got lots of restaurants around tat area too...coffee house only for breakfast...food ok only..can improve more ya👍👍👍❤❤❤

Pros= good service, thank you Yoon from the bfast lounge and another tall Chinese girl( forgot her name ) they were wonderful and helpful and also the guy at the egg station.also front counter pyone thank you for your help with everything. Staff was ever so accommodating. Also bellboy forgot their names and not to forget the 2 people who cleaned our room ( housekeeping staff) a Bangladeshi boy and myanmar girl did an excellent job
Cons = not baby friendly lobby, couldn't find a breastfeeding room and nappy changing area , saw a cockroach in the room.
