This is a really nice hotel. The staff were kind enough to upgrade us to a suite which was lovely. Staff are excellent. Club Lounge serves really nice food, snacks and drinks. Excellent location just a 5 minute walk from the huge Mall. We would definitely recommend a stay.

Our family stay in Eastin Hotel from 1 to 5 Feb 24 at Room 528,530 and 532. We are very happy with their room cleanliness and friendly Front Desk Staffs. The lady supervisors did a very good job in room supervision👍👍👍. Queensbay a 6 storey Shopping Centre is just next door so it save your shopping in town. We Highly recommended the hotel which is near the airport and places of interested. We will return to the hotel again in our future trip to Penang. Thank you to the wonderful staffs for making our stay memorable and enjoying 👍👍👍as compared to our stay at Lexis Hotel in Balik Pulau.

I would like to thank your manager Mr Imran (at the front desk) for attending to my request during my family's stay. He managed to secure a bath chair for my elderly dad to use. It relieved my mum and myself of a lot of stress over any potential fall inside the shower.

He had also been helpful in attending to my parcel delivery.

I'm thankful for his assistance and warm reception. Will be returning again hopefully soon!

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are comfortable and quiet with good wi-fi and outlets that accommodate various outlets. Above average, spacious workout room and a great pool. Breakfast staff - especially Azura -- made the experience memorable. Looking forward to my next stay.

For someone who is very keen on cleanliness, our room consider a clean room, quite sound proof. Comfortable bed with stain-free sheet, complimentary drinks in room. Free gym and pool facility, recommended.

I recently stayed at the Eastin Hotel, and here’s what I found. The hotel is situated just off the main highway, which means it’s about 15-20 minutes away from Georgetown, where most tourist attractions are located. However, it’s just a short walk to Queensbay Mall, which is a nice convenience.

The hotel has a small bar, but I found it to be on the pricey side. The silver lining is that they offer discounts to guests on non-alcoholic items. The rooms are on the smaller and more basic side, especially considering the hefty price tag. Nonetheless, the service provided is reasonable.

In addition, the Eastin Hotel also offers spa treatments, which can be a nice way to relax during your stay.

Now, let’s talk about breakfast. From a Malaysian perspective, it might not meet expectations. However, they do offer a variety of European options. Unfortunately, the coffee machine seems a bit stingy, with free access limited to just a few hours. It feels a bit frugal in that regard.

The Eastin Hotel is conveniently located for shopping at Queensbay Mall and offers spa treatments, but it may not offer the best value for money, especially with the small rooms and limited coffee access. However, the service provided is decent, making it a reasonable choice for some travelers.

Clean, good size room. Simple and well-kept decor. Surrounded by lots of restaurants, cafes and near to Queensbay Mall and Queens waterfront. Friendly and professional staffs. Love the hotel.

My friends and I (a group of ten) had a wonderful experience in your hotel. Every staff we encountered were warm and friendly, starting from the door man, the front desk staff, the maintenance personnels, housekeepers and the F&B staff.
Special mentions goes to Standley, the waiter who served us for a few mornings. He was extremely attentive and helpful. I also like to express my appreciation to Angie of front desk who kindly arranged for me to changed to another quieter room after knowing my issue with the noise from the air-conditioning and also allowing late checkout for our group.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, breakfast buffet was goood and service was absolutely incredible. Every single person we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Although it was just a one-night stay with the family...Good choice for our short trip.

Just small feedback for better enhancement --> Regular internet service. Wi-Fi quality could be improved.

Other than that, everything is good from my perspective. Will come again :)

What truly stood out during my stay was the breakfast experience. I was prepared for a typical hotel breakfast but was pleasantly surprised by the extraordinary menu offerings. The Eastin Penang Hotel's breakfast spread was a delightful journey of culinary surprises. From the unconventional banana salad to the scrumptious Singapore fried bee hoon, and from Japanese-style fish and rice to Vietnamese rolls, the options were diverse and delectable. The generous spread also included 3-4 types of cheese slices, tau fu fa, miso soup, Korean-style chicken grill, soft buns, and a choice of 5-6 juices, not to mention the superb coffee. All the dishes were served fresh, and despite the limited space, the variety was truly impressive. It was a breakfast experience like no other.

Exceptional Staff and Service
Throughout my breakfast experience, the hotel staff were exceptionally attentive and polite. Despite the multitude of food options, there was no chaos or noise. The staff went out of their way to ensure that guests were well taken care of, and this level of service made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Sparkling Clean Toilets
It's often said that the cleanliness of a hotel's bathroom reflects the overall standards of the establishment, and Eastin Penang Hotel certainly excels in this regard. The toilet was not just clean but remarkably shiny, and I felt a sense of luxury and well-being each time I used it. This level of cleanliness and maintenance added an extra layer of comfort to my stay.

My two-night stay at the Eastin Penang Hotel was nothing short of superb. We stayed at the hotel for a week in late July. The most wonderful experience while we were there was the friendly staff and quality service at the breakfast buffet.

The receptionist, Jessie, is very friendly and professional. We were very impressed that at our second visit, she had already remembered our room number along with other information we gave her the day before! She was always there to help and offered more than what we expected. We really appreciate her exceptional service and responsiveness which made our stay even better and more enjoyable.

We also highly appreciate Ms. Azura for her warm and welcoming greetings and fantastic services. She always made sure we got everything we needed and checked on us whenever she got a chance.

In addition, our utmost breakfast dining experience could not be accomplished without Stanley’s outstanding service and hospitality. Besides having profound knowledge of the food served, he came forward and politely guided us through the made-to-order stations and introduced daily special with details. He not only showed total dedication and commitment to his duties but also was very observant and attentive. He treated us with respect and we could feel his passion about his job all the time.

Good location. Rooms are clean and bfast spread is good. No complaints. Staffs are attentive and helpful.

Over all is good. But pls look into installing bidet in the toilet. And room keeping need to look into the pillows. Very dusty. Water pressure is weak.

1. Excellent service from the staff. They're all very helpful and friendly. They even welcome you at the lobby door. 💯
2. Room is comfortable but I don't like the pillow. It's not fluffy 😔
3. Pool is accessible until 9pm so you can enjoy swimming at night. Unfortunately, the toilet smells like piss at night. Maybe the previous visitor didn't flush, n the cleaner isn't available at that time 😕
4. Wide variety of breakfast. Malaysian food, Western, Japanese, you name it! Totally worth the price👍🏼
5. 2-3 minutes walking distance to Queensbay mall.

The Eastin hotel was a great place to stay during my Penang business trip. The breakfast was wonderful, and Azura in the morning was very helpful and nice to talk to. The laundry policy of 3 free items per day helped me minimize clothing to bring. Also the exercise room was very nice and open 24/7.

We were upgrade to a suite becoz our room choice was not ready. The room is spacious annd well maintained. Choose the hotel becoz of its proximity to airport and mall.
