Cafe Ko Cha Bi ( Balik Pulau Famous Laksa )

Food taste great, for laksa you have 2 option here, original or lemak, is our first time being here, our locals relative recommend us to try this Gula Melaka bun, taste so good when is hot and soft, I recommend to give it a try! (Beware messing with the bun filling 😁)

There are two types of laksa sold here, asam laksa and laksa lemak or from its chinese name, siam laksa. I ordered one each of the laksa and a hakka noodle. Both of the laksa are delicious and covered with flesh of fish. Asam laksa is the common Penang laksa while laksa lemak is more like curry. However, the hakka noodle is just so-so to me. For drinks, I order a fresh nutmeg drink and snow smoothie. The snow smoothie is loaded with ice cream and it is a blessing on such a hot sunny day.

A very unassuming cafe in Balik Pulau that serves yummilicious bowls of Penang assam laksa and my first time, lemak laksa (same noodle type and garnishing as the assam laksa but with yummy thick gravy that has coconut milk blended in). Highly recommended.

Tasty laska, clean cafe and have lots varieties of food choices. I will highly recommend this cafe in the weekend afternoon time 3-4pm. You can easily find a parking lot at opposite car park area. Besides that, you will find some tea time snacks food stalls in the big car park area. Such as Taiwan Mochi my favourite flavour is red bean, 曼煎糕 something like traditional pan cake in 4 flavours and lots more food stalls are waiting you to discover and taste it.

Laksa is good. In fact we were pleasently surprised because it looked new but it's good. Nutmeg juice and laksa is a thing to try without breaking your wallet

I love this place. They serve awesome hakka noodles. Noodles are handmade. Taste light & refreshing. It is served with braised egg & tofu with minced meat cooked in special sauce.
