Bukit Genting Hill Leisure Park And Restaurant

Went during Chinese New Year and there was a set menu, the staff were great as we didn't want the whole menu so allowed us to choose the dishes we wanted and only pay for them. Very tasty food especially the pandan chicken, and well worth the drive up the steep hill. The garden are unique and worth a little walk around. The view is amazing to sit and have a drink and food. I can only imagine that sunset is picturesque. If we are in the area we will visit again.

Absolutely wonderful evening at the top of the hill! The views are incredible and the food was amazing! Best crab dish I’ve ever had! We also had the sizzling seafood dish! It was fabulous as well! BGH deserves more than 5 stars! Loved the laid back vibe! Thank you to the staff and owner for your generosity😀 We will be back next time we visit the island!

Mountain road is quite dangerous, better get a skilful driver to handle. But the view worth the time, best dinner time is 6-7:30pm. Not recommend to stay late after sunset as the exit mountain pathway is dangerous too.

Price is reasonable and serving time is fast. Quite a lot of mosquitoes here, so bring your own lemongrass spray to keep them away.

Always a best spot to bring along your elder families to come for a good view.

What an eclectic place with the most amazing views. We went for lunch, and were the only people there, but looking at the set up, I suspect it's pretty amazing in the evenings... though that is a guess. The food was exceptional and very generous in terms of size. The drive up and down is not for the fainthearted, though. Buckle up!! If you are scared of heights, bring a blindfold, but don't wear if driving!

Great Thai food with a mind blowing view. It's a tricky road up here but absolutely worth it.

Take a drive up a narrow hilly road to reach. The only restaurant there up on a hill. There will be someone to welcome you and shows you a parking spot. They mainly serve Thai food. The scenery is great. You will be looking over the plains with the sea on the horizon. Occasionally, if the timing is right, may catch a nice sunset view. You can enjoy a good dining overlooking a great scenery.

We walked in after CNY and were a bit nervous when we were told they only had the CNY set menus as it was quite expensive. But we were all blown away by the quality of the food! Super fresh ingredients, extremely generous portions, perfectly seasoned and executed. We loved it, and felt it was worth the price paid, very reasonable for the quality of meal. Views there are top notch and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back on next visit!

Good environment, food is good only (personal view) , the view is good up there though, but very hard to go up as it's on top oh hills. Going up before sundown is ok but when it's night there is no light on road and very steep and dangerous. (Lowered or car with body kit don't go up as many bump are very abnormal)

A restaurant located on a hill top, initially was only planning to have a look at the scenery up there, but the owner immediately asked us to have dinner there the first thing when we arrived there. Decided to try out and the thai cuisine turned out to be quite decent. Owner is very friendly and gives recommendations.

Would recommend to make a booking if you are planning to have dinner at peak hours, if go around 5pm, no wait and food is served very fast.

After eating, you can stay up there to take photos and watch the beautiful sunset. But the journey to and from the place is narrow and steep, recommend to have gps opened after dark to ensure you dont go to the wrong way!!

One of restaurant with the best view in Penang, you can see Penang island from above. Access road to this restaurant is quite small and steep. Food tasted good, price was decent.

The view here is breathtaking 😍 ✨ although the road towards the shop is a bit bumpy the end view is worth it. The food here is tasty, especially the tom yam soup and the pandan chicken 🐔. My fav is the pandan chicken it is not like the usual pandan chicken they put chicken, here they make it as a pandan patty chicken. So it's a must-try. I wouldn't recommend their dessert .

Beautiful scenery and atmosphere, it was really cold at night. Many spots to take pictures. Beware of the road as it is quite steep and narrow.

Food was superb and nice. Their service was very good and you need to early booking before dining in there. The atmosphere no doubt was fantastic with nice photo taking with behind background scenary.

Great food and a wonderful view. Nice in the early evening between 6pm-8pm. The road going up is a bit steep but follow Waze and you can't go wrong. Make sure your car is powerful enough to climb slopes. Food is decently priced. All the food in the photos plus a bottle of umbra juice cost RM156 to feed 4pax. Worth the journey. Tom yam is spicy and delicious. Highly recommend!

Delicious sze char worth the drive up for, served fast, with a good variety. Impressed by the Otah and Fried Chicken. View was beautiful. Drive is challenging but safe in the day.

This place is beautiful but the only cons are getting to and out of this place, during the dark it may be hard for customers to get out. This place gives the backroom vibes because all you can see is random stuff placements, I think this place is a former buddhist temple correct me if I’m wrong.The scenery is beautiful, food are not outstanding but reasonable, we bought 3 cups of iced ribena, sambal belancan kangkung ,3 plates of rice and a tiga rasa fish for 85 MYR . Will recommend this place if you’re here for scenery view, and taking pictures with decade old stone statues.
