Very nice place with incredible view over the beach and the stars at night. Theres also a little bar integrated where you can order cocktails or food to consume in the hammock at the beach or in your room. The owner Raúl is super nice and service-oriented and gives a lot of good recommendations all over mazunte. Would come back any time!

Raúl (the owner) has a magical place. The views of the posadas are overwhelmingly beautiful. A sustainable place that makes you feel part of nature. I usually say - when you travel don't stay in your hotel/room go out and explore, in this case I say: plan to spend at least one day or every sunset in this place, I promise you won't regret it 💙 you can always come down to the beach/ocean to refresh yourself. 🌊

Ik heb in vele accommodaties geslapen over de hele wereld maar Monte Cangrejo staat absoluut een van de favorieten ooit. Het uitzicht over het strand is adembenemend mooi. Zeker tijdens de zonsondergang is het puur genieten. Wij hadden de bungalow met zwembad en het water was heerlijk van temperatuur. De host Raul is vriendelijk en hielp ons met de koffers tillen. Het enige minpuntje dat ik kan bedenken is dat het trappengat gevaarlijk is omdat er geen hekje omheen staat. Als je in het donker uit bed stapt en je let niet op dan kan je zo een paar meter naar beneden vallen. Verder kan ik me niets bedenken en was het perfect!

El rinconcito más hermoso de Mazunte. Te ofrece las mejores vistas a los atardeceres, dormir y despertar con la brisa y el sonido de las olas del mar, una vista increíble de las estrellas en la noche… Es un lugar súper especial, si te gusta la naturaleza y no te importa dejar atrás ciertas comodidades, lo vas a disfrutar muchísimo.

Las cabañas están sobre la montaña. Hay que caminar unos metros sobre la playa y luego subir escaleras para llegar, por lo que te recomiendo empacar muy ligero. Tienen baño ecológico y la regadera es al aire libre sin agua caliente, que son las dos cosas que pienso le pudieran incomodar a alguien, pero de verdad vale 100% la pena por todo lo demás que ofrece este lugar; yo me he hospedado aquí 2 veces ya y planeo regresar.

No necesitas moverte de aquí en toda tu estancia, tienen restaurante/bar con palapa y paraguas para disfrutar la playa todo el día. El menú no es extenso, pero si muy rico, y los drinks son deliciosos también!

Este lugar tiene la MEJOR VISTA de Playa Mermejita. Es sin duda la única y mejor opción para hospedarte frente a esta playa y disfrutar del amanecer/atardecer. Monte Cangrejo tiene 3 cabañas disponibles, yo estuve en una cabaña con alberquita, lo disfruté mucho y regresaré!! Lo recomiendo ampliamente!!

Muy Bonito

Muy buena experiencia para desconectarte de todo. Es muy ecológico y el sonido del mar todo el día en verdad que te reinicia la vida. Las vistas son espectaculares. Asegúrate de llevar equipaje ligero y de estar preparado para una experiencia muy al natural.

El único detalle en nuestra visita fue que no funcionaba una lámpara del exterior de la cabaña, así que en las noches se sentía muy oscuro afuera y la única manera de poder estar era con la lámpara del celular. Por lo demás, es un lugar muy recomendable.
