Amazing place to stay in Mazunte, everything is clean and well taken care of, plenty of plug ins in the restaurant area, so it's perfect if you have to work on the computer or need to charge your phone.
Water refills for 5 pesos, great food n lovely people working here.

Edit: changed room after a few days and it was unbearably noisy, some construction was going on at the Posada starting at 7am every morning continuing all throughout the day. On the other side was loud music every night. We eventually changed to a different place cos we simply didn't get any rest/sleep

It's important to book in advance. The price is quite reasonable, and the rooms are pretty and unique (though some are much better than others in terms of space, view, etc.). The location is great as a hub for hiking to near beaches or Punta Cometa. They do not accept credit cards, so take precautions.

Been my go to hostal in Mazunte. The staff is cool and down to earth. You can spend hours at night talking to folks from all over under the stars, drinking the night away. wifi is a little shabby, but the bar and food more than make up for it. Great memories and an amazing time

Here you will find The best coffee in the village, with great view to the Rinconcito beach, live music and movie nights, super nice vibe, craft beers and the only place with flat white in all Mazunte . The rooms are great, location is perfect and the staff is really really helpful and friendly but the best part is chilling on the terrace watching the Ocean and when it's full moon you get a magical background to enjoy the evening, by the beach.

Great location. Amazing food. went there everyday while in Oaxaca. The waves on this beach weren’t dangerous too! (January). Very pleasant spot. Try the ice-cream (CocoSun) + it’s vegan. 🌱✌🏼

Ideal when you're visiting Mazunte for the first time. Breakfasts are good, there's internet, and you may hang around in Rinconcito's main street. Use a lot of sunscreen, even under the beach's umbrellas you'll get a terrible sunburn.

This is one of the best places ever in the world! Location five star, management five star, food five star! One time you reach this place you can feel home in the Paradise! Accomodation are also good, of course depending on how much you want spend. From shared room at affordable prices, to private room with toilet. You can enjoy the best spot ever in Masunte. The entire crew are simply Amazing, and give you a familiar feeling every moment. Sometimes ther is Open air Cinema, other times small party, every week jam session of jazz or Latin music. If you don't live a bit this place, you can't really say you've visited Mazunte!

Among the most creative and enchanting hostels I’ve stayed at. Note that this review is only for their “Estrellas,” the outdoor swing beds on top of the cliff overlooking the ocean. I’ve not stayed in their private or indoor dorm rooms, but the outdoor swing beds were a magical experience! To fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves...To wake up with the sun and the view of the ocean below...To sleep outside but feel protected by a mosquito net... To breathe the fresh ocean air as I fall asleep... This was truly a unique experience in my 5 months backpacking Mexico. I extended my stay in Mazunte for a few days not for Mazunte but bc I so adored this hostel. I also loved the outdoor bathroom and shower (also overlooking the ocean). And the morning yoga classes. Not for those who want bells and whistles and fancy stuff... but yes, for those who want nature and serenity and simplicity, and who don’t mind a little rustic feel... in fact, who sometimes crave a little rustic :). Magic, magic place :)

Beautiful place at the beach. Morning classes of hatha yoga (60 pesos - 1.5h) which are very nice! Rooms are relatively 'expensive' (we paid 500 pesos for a private double) but nice experience with the hanging beds.

Best coffee served beachside in Mazunte! The cafe has a relaxed vibe with delicious and fresh food. A pleasant destination if you’re in the area for breakfast or light lunch.

Fantastic. Just bring cash for the room, they don't accept card and the ATMs are unreliable in town.

This rating is for the restaurant only! Accommodation is different and has very rundown facilities for all shared rooms! Private rooms seem better
