Sonoran Sky Resort

We drove around the closed border crossing and it was so worth it! We had amazing seafront views, friendly staff that would do anything to make our stay more enjoyable and a fantastic location for morning beach walks. We had the beach to ourselves and couldn’t have been happier! Food and drinks were great as was the service. Already planning our next trip!

We stayed in the penthouse, room 1508. Beautiful decor and great view. It's a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and has a great couch set on the balcony.

Heated pool with swim up bar. Great restaurant and bar. Live music on Saturday. The condo we stayed in was lovely. Security on site so never worried about the car. They beach is lovely directly in front of the place. Only small quibble is just the pools and hot tubs close at 9:45.

We love staying at this resort! It was a great time. The customer service was great. The room and layout perfect as well as the proximity to the beach.

The location of this specific Sonoran resort is nice because it’s a slightly calmer area and the beach isn’t as busy.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful. The pool area was always clean. No bad smells. Our room was perfect.

We have stay at a few different places with similar prices like peñasco del sol, las palomas but this is my favorite place, access to the rooms, pool and parking is just a few steps, and is got a bar by the beach, you have plenty of cabanas that you don't have to pay extra. The local restaurant is got a awesome breakfast buffet

I've stayed in a few places in P.P. and like this one the best. Close and easy access to rooms from parking lot and from rooms to pools/beach. Nicely appointed rooms. Great view from every room. Poolside bar. Restaurant. Mini store with basics and ice. You can't go wrong here.

If you want to feel like you're actually on the beach while staying in your room this is the place.

Beautiful five-star resort, excellent accommodations, friendly and very helpful staff. This is a well run organization, starting with the receptionist, truly amazing young lady. Beautiful place with excellent amenities, heated swimming pools with swim up bar, clean beach. What more could one ask for? I highly recommend the Sonoran Sky Resort, my wife and I will be back.

Beautiful Five Star Condo, nicely appointed, complete with everything you need, exceptionally neat and clean. We have stayed in a number of various locations over the past 10 years, this is by far the best! Great showers, with plenty of hot water. We will be back.

The front desk staff is truly amazing here. My elderly mother and I came here to see the ocean one last time as my mom’s health is not great.
I let them know this was a special occasion for her. They immediately helped with wheelchairs, questions, staff helping at all times to make her trip extra special for her. They went above and beyond for her. The best part about this, this morning the front desk staff knocked on our door and delivered her a massive beautiful bouquet of flowers! Like, wow. Mom cried. The attention to detail is beyond amazing. Thank you to all the staff here. Also..beautiful condo, clean, great view and just all around an amazing special trip for her. Thank you!!

My family stayed here over the weekend. Our unit didn't disappoint! We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit. Both the master, family/dinning room & kitchen had hugh sliding doors leading out to an incredible balcony that can easily hold 10 people. The balcony had a love seat/sofa, two chaises, and a table that seats 4. The town offered a few excursions and not alot of shopping. In my opinion, this town/resort is GREAT for family bonding. The kitchen provides everything you need. We will definitely be back with the rest of the family.

Best Resort I've stayed at! Dr. Gilles was such a sweet lady and we reserved her condo for almost a whole week. So breathtaking and beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend 🤗✨👍🏻

This is our favorite place to stay in Puerto Peñasco. The swim up bar would be more awesome if kids weren't allowed to sit at the bar. And they need to spend more time disciplining children in the bar pool than what responsible adults are doing. Other than that, everything about this place is great!

Great view. Rooms are nice. Unfortunately when we were there it was raining and electricity went off. I wouldn't recommend visiting Puerto Peñasco during winter months or when it's rainy. The resort has a nice pool area and restaurant near by. Also a gym, a spa (did not visit) and a local store in the lobby where you can purchase food & drinks.

Had the best time at this resort and Rocky Point. Hotel is located in a great location, beach was groomed And pools where maintained well. Kind of upset I didn't take more pictures ha🏖. You are asked to mask up when in the lobby, elevators and store.

Great family environment and very fun. The service is impeccable and it is very clean. I left a pair of diamond earrings in the room after check out and the staff promptly had the central office return them (staff turned them in). Every time for several years has been a great stay!!

Wonderful place to stay, loved that it was right on the beach! Will be back for sure!
