Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta

We loved our trip at this resort! Gorgeous private beach with soft sand and pretty waters compared to other areas we’ve stayed in the bay. They offer free kayaking and boogie boards. Or paid parasailing, wave runners and water tours or fishing.
The hotel was so pretty! We loved our room with the balcony and jacuzzi (not all rooms have that but ours did). All rooms are ocean view. Very polite staff.
The food was overall good but our group did have to wait very long times to get served at the restaurants. It took up most the evening. And some meals came more like an appetizer portion size and since it took so long to get we didn’t bother to order more food.
We loved the location and that it was close to town. We spent one afternoon/evening in town and ate a super yummy dinner there.
The hotel can call a taxi but you can also walk right outside the resort entrance and there’s a bus stop for the local transit and it’s like .20 cents to get to town. A taxi would be much more. It comes like every 15 minutes. You can technically walk, it’d take about 30 minutes but there’s no sidewalk and roads are tight.
The pools were nice! Though their temps changed from day to day. Sometimes the hot tubs weren’t very warm and other times there were. Some pools were heated and others weren’t (least not when we tried them).
Overall absolutely loved it there! Very beautiful.

Great resort. Beautiful scenery. Great beach. Not too loud or busy. The food is good with good variety for a smaller resort. We've had no reasons to complain. The staff are super friendly and professional. We're happy to have stayed at this cozy and exceptionally clean resort.

Magnificent private beach. The service was fantastic.! The food was amazing.! I loved, not only the buffet where they had such great healthy options such as smoothies they make right in front of you all the way to super hot breakfast, and a huge assortment of muffins and bread, as well as fruits and vegetables…. lunch buffet was fantastic. Could have a choice between Andō or Asian or American. I also the restaurants at the resort plus the pizzeria and the fact that there was room service pretty much till 4 AM. I don’t know past 4 AM because I fell asleep.

Loved this resort!! We had amazing service everywhere we went! The people really care and try so hard!
We stayed in the club tower and I do believe it’s worth the cost. The rooms were updated and so nice! It was also nice to have access to our own bar/snacks.

I was a little nervous coming to Mexico pregnant, but we had no issues with food or drinks.

The only negative might be the lack of pool chairs with only day beds that need to be rented in front of the pool. There are plenty of chairs though on the beach!

It was my first time at an ALL-INCLUSIVE hotel, and I will definitely return. Whether you're here with just your partner or with the entire family to include kids, this place is breathtaking. The service is exceptional anywhere you are at. Dinner at any of their 4 restaurants is a must. Take the time to hang out in the middle pool with a swim bar included and wait for the sun to go down. The view at sunset will be amazing. The experience for all of the family was truly a pleasure.

My family had a wonderful holiday. We really loved this hotel. It was so relaxing. The room was maybe not the newest, but we had great ocean views. The food at the 4 restaurants was delicious. The beach is private, which meant it was calm. There are no big swimming pools and that was perfect. Our kids spent most of their day in the pool. All in all, it was perfect and we found ourselves relaxing and wanting to go back!

Great hotel, relatively close to downtown PV, yet with it's own private (for Mexico) beach. All rooms have an ocean view, and the roar of the ocean surf is a wonderful background to your stay. You don't need a sound machine for the kids. Leave it at home. Great staff are super friendly.

Location is wonderful. Beach is awesome. Food is GREAT! Treat the staff with respect and give compensation when credit is due. They are the best and they go out of their way to make accommodations and fulfill your needs. HYATT ZIVA WE LOVE YOU! This is our 6th visit with many more to come! :)

Loved staying here and will be recommending it for years to come. The staff were so extremely welcoming and really make the guests feel special. They upgraded our room and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for my anniversary. I would definitely come here again! Thank you!

This hotel offers all inclusive. All rooms have ocean view. They have 4 restaurants and 1 buffet. The grill restaurant is probably the best, then the buffet. A bit disappointed with the Italian, Mexican and Asian restaurants, but the other two made up. The coffe daily is awesome, free kayak and paddle board and other music programs. Very relaxing, staffs are super nice and friendly.

We (a group of three women) came to the resort and purchased day passes. They were $90 per day and covered you from 9 am to 6 pm. That included all meals and unlimited drinks. We only ate two meals (basically brunch and late lunch) but they were fabulous! The drinks were amazing as well and the servers who delivered the drinks did not allow an empty beverage once. I cannot speak to the rooms or entertainment because we were on day pass and just enjoyed the beach. But we had such a good time that we are considering staying on our next visit.

What a great experience. I have been going to Puerto Vallarta and first time at Hyatt Ziva. Excellent service all around. Every staff member made everyday a memorable moment.

Me and my wife really enjoyed the view from our room it was amazing to wake up with the ocean right there not only that but the hotel has their own private beach which was nice, depending on when you go you may have the whole thing to yourself.

Really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very clean with an authentic Mexican flare. The service was fantastic from Hector at the buffet to Alicia our cleaning person. The beach was private, clean and sunsets were killer. Nice restaurants and good food. We would definitely come back.

Everything about this hotel was amazing for.an all included hotel the food.is actully like really really good especially the Italian place This is the best hotel I've ever been to it's very quiet very nice beach lots of activities and the hotel is super modern

Great all inclusive resort. Staff are excellent. Best restaurant is the Blaze,a steakhouse. Every meal was perfect. Beach is swimmable and there were plenty of lounge chairs. Many chairs on the beach as well. Only downside is there is very little entertainment in the evenings. During the day tacos and similar food was served on one of the patios. Would return.

What a fantastic all inclusive resort with heated pools and a hot Jacuzzi. The beach is beautiful, the sand is clean, and the variety of restaurants is good. I love the Italian restaurant and tried delicious eggplant Parmesan, salad, roasted vegetables and don't miss the tiramisu...so good! My husband got fresh caught fish of the day at the Asian restaurant and I can't stop talking about it. Blaze restaurant has a delicious spinach salad and lots of vegan/ vegetarian options on the buffet. This was our second time here in a year and we are counting down to our next visit 💜

Went for a destination wedding and had a fabulous stay. Asian restaurant was average. Mexican and Italian were awesome and so was the buffet.

Great location, service is excellent. Oceanview from room was excellent. Spotless Clean and lots of variety for restaurants. Food is outstanding.

Amazing beach and ocean experience, with beautiful rooms and a staff that was always friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better resort vacation.
