Lindo Mar Resort

We went to the restaurant at Lindo Mar Resort. Excellent food and service (thank you Ruben) and fantastic location beside the beach with amazing views.
Highly recommend the food here. Good value.
The chili Rellenos, fajitas, and enchiladas were all amazing.

For an older resort, it is very well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small but nice private beach. Short taxi ride to town. Rooms are updated regularly. Great place for a quiet getaway!

I'm in love with this place! The Employees are so wonderful and helpful. And everybody has a big smile on their face.

Just a delightful place to stay on the beach. Restaurant is good to very good food. Bar is great. Drinks are strong. Two happy hours afternoon and evening. You can walk to town in 25 minutes on the road but taxi is only 100.

This place is really nice to for the restaurant and beach view. Haven't had the chance to stay there but the location is amongst the best views in Vallarta and the water there is crystal clear. Unfortunately there's often lots of people on the beach but there's always a corner to have fun and enjoy. Their brunch special on Sundays are renowned in Vallarta.

This review is for the restaurant, which is amazing. You can sit on the patio right next to the water, and the views are spectacular, especially at sunset. The food is excellent plus very reasonably priced. Loved the guacamole. The happy hour is great, and the margaritas are strong and tasty! Finally, the waiters are friendly, helpful and very funny, too! During our one week stay, we had to go more than once because we enjoyed it so much. It was romantic and memorable each time. Recommend most highly.

A jewel close to the romantic zone. Just a short bus or taxi ride and you will be in the old town with all the hustle and bustle. Great energy there. The resort is one of the smaller ones, has beach front, great snorkeling. A little older but sparkling clean, great staff, always friendly and helpful. We are still traveling, are in a different resort and both wish we could be there. Restaurants is ok, ate there only one time and they fixed some food for me special. That was really nice, we got there late due to traveling. The rooms a very well designed and again clean, clean and clean. The small kitchen has everything you need. Ate breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the ocean .I will be back.

I haven't stayed at Lindo Mar (which is mostly condo owners, I believe) but I have eaten at the restaurant several times. It never disappoints. Amazing location right on the beach gives you spectacular views as well as some fun people watching. The service is prompt, the food delicious and the portions generous. Not expensive. Great place for lunch, dinner or just afternoon drinks.

We stayed at Lindo Mar for a week in April and loved every single minute! In fact we are returning in October.The beach and view were lovely ,the pool surrounded by very pleasant people. , The restaraunt was great ( they fixed us and guests all whole red snappers one evening) The happy hours are cheap and fun...what else could you want? A little distance to town but an inexpensive ride. Go to the downtown grocery store to load up .. very interesting. Great place and people.!

We had breakfast there and it was very good. The service is excellent and the view cannot be beraten. The prices are very reasonable. Eggs Benedict were 115 Pesos.

Lindo Mar is a Timeshare Resort that is also open to the public as space allows. We have owned time here for at least 30 years. Unlike many timeshare resorts that have been allowed to go downhill, our resort has totally remodeled 2/3 of the units (new kitchens, baths, flooring, patio doors, etc.) and they will complete the remodel after the pandemic. We love it here. Every single unit looks out on the ocean. The most charming restaurant, La Playita, is right downstairs on the beach. The staff couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect, at Conchas Chinas Beach, only 10 minutes from town. The building is 9 stories with 2 Penthouse units on top, several 2 bedroom units on various floors, and mostly one-bedroom units.

I wasn't sure what to expect about this resort being way out on the south part of Vallarta but I was wrong for doubting this site. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the staff who were amazing and helpful, check in was quick and informative and once we walked into our room I was amazed. A little worried we would not get an ocean view but from what I was told all rooms have an ocean view from a balcony. Awesome views of the ocean. The rooms themselves have full kitchens and two bedrooms with restrooms and well maintained. The restaurant is decently priced and the food was great. The beach may be rocky but it is not packed (Late July). There is a connivence store about 5 minute walk and taxis are readily available. I've been to Vallarta 5 times staying in different resorts and this by far is the best. Highly recommended.
BTW...Covid checks were pretty straight forward. A hand sink with soap and paper towels is located outside and a temperature check just before you walk in. Simple and safe. All staff wear mask which gives confidence in their effort to contain Covid.

Wonderful small resort with beachfront access south of the romantic zone. Responsible management plus most units have now been remodeled. Only improvement I would like to see is with the restaurant. They have a fantastic over the water location, but the food quality has slipped over the years. Margaritas though are still good, and we usually opt to cook in for breakfast and then head to town in the evening to best restaurants Vallarta has to offer. (Trio, Archies Wok, Joe Jacks, etc!)

Great location - five minute cab ride from the Zona Romantica with out having to be in the Zona Romantica. On the beach in Conchas Chinas. Large units in a small complex. Great onsite restaurant at the beach. Very charming.

Excellent food. The service was excellent. We were a party of 6 with no reservations and the made it work for us. The margaritas were delicious and large. Tbe fish soup and red snapper was excellent.

My family has been coming here for 25 years and most of my life. It's lovely, super friendly and always very clean. You are immersed in the ocean as living room balconies open up to crashing waves and gorgeous sunsets. The small, rocky cove is great for snorkeling. You can buy freshly caught fish and lobster from spearfishers on the beach and have the restaurant cook it up. Nice kitchen if you're trying to eat in. Two happy hours every day! Yummy Sunday brunch. Quick bus ride to downtown or south to Boca and Mismaloya. It's quaint and there are lots of newer resorts in the area but we love it here.

Lindo Mar is our Go-To ocean beach side restaurant and hotel. It's charming with a beautiful sandy beach and gorgeous views, especially the sunsets. Delicious food and drinks! Wonderfully staffed.

This is a fantastic resort right on the ocean. The rooms are very large, mexican decor, large balcony in every room. Small private beach . The restaurant is on the water. Beautiful views! The food is very delicious.
