Monte Uzulu Boutique Hotel

Stayed here for 4 nights. Really enjoyed our time over NYE. The hotel itself is really beautiful. And the rooms are well thought out. The materials and the thought that went into this place deserves praise. There is no AC but we always felt fine with the fan on high at night. The balcony offers great views of the ocean (2nd floor). We always had hot water in our shower. The included breakfast was amazing. Not sure what others here have complained about. Usually a bowl of fruit and yogurt with eggs. The hotel is a little difficult to get up to with your bags, so do try to pack lightly. Big shoutout to Ryan who was super helpful during our stay. The beach is literally 4 minutes from the room. Loved Monte Uzulu!

Beautiful room and setting, amazing view of the ocean from our room was a highlight of our trip. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff that were very accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast was lovely providing multiple options, it was a very decent meal to start the day. The only watch out is if you are traveling during the hotter months of the year and not used to the heat the rooms do not have aircon so the room did get hot at times.

Beautiful hotel that blends with the natural landscape. The views are spectacular and you really feel at peace and secluded from it all. The shower is amazing and so are the biodegradable shampoo, conditioner and body wash they offer. Do not be discouraged by the lack of ac. It feels very cool and fresh in the room. I slept so well! We only stayed one night and I wish I could have stayed more time. Cannot wait to come back!

We had brunch here everyday whilst in Mazunte and were spoilt for choice! For $240 you get delicious coffee with refills, a choice of 3 fresh fruit bowls, a main dish, a pastry, and the agua del día.

The French toast, salmon and avocado toast, and cilantro croque were stand-outs!

The restaurant itself has a beautiful jungle setting overlooking Mazunte, with lovely flower arrangements on each of the tables :)

Could not have pictured a more perfect stay. Everything from the room, the views, the alley way, the breakfast, to the people were beyond incredible. Do not look anywhere else to stay in San Augustinillo. We will most certainly be back to stay here again and again.

Beautiful hotel respecting nature and it's surrounding. What an amazing design in and out. A little hard to find from the main Street. But as you walk to the end of a narrow street you start walking up the steps to this oasis. You feel right as soon as you feel you have arrived. The rooms are beautiful and overlooking the trees. The highlight is the bathtub which is surrounded by plants and a rain shower head. You feel like your bathing in nature. The rooms don't have A/C but the fan is powerful enough to make you feel comfortable. Better than other hotels who claim to have A/C. All the materials are so beautiful. You will want to buy everything for your own home. The hotel is responsible and has a true care towards the environment and sustainability. A true paradise. Wish we had spent more than 1 night here. At night the hotel lights up through it's magnificent yet subdued lighting. It feels magical. The management was very friendly and helpful. A true hospitable experience. Can't wait to come back. This place is a dream. The location is perfect: in the middle of the nature and you can quickly get anywhere. You can hear the sound of the ocean from your balcony as well as the birds around you. Omar is a great host, together with the rest of the stuff, he took great care of us. The interior is modern, beautiful and functional at the same time. I couldn’t wish for more!

This is one of the best places to stay at San Agustinillo.
Food was AWESOME at their restaurant, the location was perfect! it's right across the beach, so you can hear the waves at night, and from the top rooms you can even see the ocean.
I would totally stay here again!

It's a great boutique hotel hidden in the town of San Agustinillo! Great architectural design. You feel connected with nature. Prices are a little bit high but the experience is well worth it. Great attention by the staff. We will be back!

My experience at the Monte Uzulu was the best one on the coast . The attention to details , the staff , the beauty and calm of the place , everything was perfection ! The style is incredible , a creation of Taller Luum . The restaurant Temprada is excellent as well ! Thanks to the whole team , for my amazing and restful stay , I will be back and will surely recommend you !

The hotel is beautiful and the experience in whole is so special. The place (Mazunte and San Agustinillo) is magical.
If you want the best hotel in the area Monte Uzulu is what you are looking for.

Nicely styled boutique hotel. Friendly staff. The included breakfast was a bit limited, but for an extra charge there were some tasty options.

Le temps s'arrête à Monte Uzulu. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût, le personnel très sympas. J'ai eu une très bonne expérience dans ce très jolie hôtel !

È stato un soggiorno indimenticabile! L’architettura è incredibile, ogni camera ha un terrazzo personale e da lì puoi sentire l’infrangersi delle onde. La posizione è perfetta, immersa in un angolo di giungla tropicale ma a due minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Il personale è gentilissimo, sempre pronto ad aiutarti. Mi sono sentita davvero a casa e spero di tornarci presto! Mi manca già!! Fatevi un regalo, prenotare un soggiorno in questa struttura, non ve ne pentirete!

Monte Uzulu Boutique Hotel si sviluppa sulla collina adiacente alla spiaggia di San Agustinillo.
Ci è piaciuto molto il fatto che anche trovandoci a poca distanza dai locali si potesse godere di un’estrema pace e tranquillità.
La vista è splendida e l’hotel curato ma soprattutto confortevole.
Potendo ci saremmo rimasti almeno 1 settimana.

Simplemente encantador! Y los detalles que tienen son buenísimos, cómo incluir aloe vera y una toalla perfecta de playa en la habitación (hizo de nuestra ida a la playa y el regreso sea mucho más agradable!)

La habitación hermosa, la vista, la decoración, la regadera! Nos ha gustado mucho la estadía aquí! Volveríamos mil veces

Monte Uzulu es un pequeño paraíso para todo aquel que le gusten los espacios de diseño.
Las camas son muy cómodas, el ventilador no hace apenas ruido y la habitación huele de maravilla. Tres cosas que en otros hoteles en la costa no hemos encontrado amenudo. Vale, quizás la bañera no sea muy práctica… pero el espacio es maravilloso y con el calor quien va a bañarse 😉
El personal es encantador. Los Concierge te ayudan a organizar escapadas y te dan consejos para todo.

Si volvemos a esta zona de México seguro que nos quedamos aquí otra vez
