Mazunte Beach

One of my favorite beaches on the Puerto Escondido coast. This beach is great because you can really swim here and it is filtered with lots of sun and rock formations that are easy on the eye. There are lots of places to shop and get food and while the restaurant lounge options are limited they are there if you come early to get a seat. The waves are nice and the sand is lovely. It’s dust Next to Zolita and adjacent beaches so there’s lots to see and do in this area.

Super chill beach. I loved it. It's quiet not to many people. The waves don't pick up until 12 and settle down around 1600. 100% recommend

IF YOU ARE READING THIS before visiting Mazunte, please get a toy for this good boy who loves to play fetch at the beach . I unfortunately found him on the last day here and couldn’t find a place that sells toys for dogs. He is so smart and friendly, I keep thinking about him . I wish I could do more for him 💔

Beautiful town, beautiful beach. I loved this town and the beach, we where there during the week so it wasn’t as busy, not sure how busy it would be on the weekend.
Streets are narrow and there is always a lot of people so I recommend parking in the beginning of the street, if you take the rinconcito street. Three is another street that takes you to the beach and I think that one is less busy.
The waves are not to big so it is nice to go for a swim.

Beautiful beach! There are some nearby rocks where can be seen colored fish. The water is pristine and clear. The food and people is very nice. Punta cometa is near also a must if you are around.

super cheap beach lots of places to stay diffrent price ranges, also make sure to bring cash most places have no card option family friendly atms are scares make sure to stop at airport or next big town for money

It was very quiet for a Friday. November and early December do not seem to have too many people, so all the bars/restaurants are very welcoming, The service is great everywhere we stopped.

Beautiful beach and sea. Unlike Zipolite, the sea here is not too wild to swim in. Still somewhat wavy though; good for boogie-boarding.

Mazunte is a magical place indeed. With all the free spirit of Zipolite but not the hype. Nudity is restricted to toplessness. A smaller more intimate beach without the dangerous surf makes it safer for swimming.

One of my favorites places in Mexico, beautiful place with lots of nature, not so touristy and lots of hints to do or just chill and relax. You can miss it! Take the turtle and dolphin tour it is worth every single penny!

Nice clean beach with lots of local and foreign young tourists. Lots of good restaurant options ( from fish to Italian pizza and pasta). Small waves, good for young surfers.

The food was good and the beach was rough but it was like that due to the season.

Amazing, beautiful and divine. Mazunte and this beach is one of my favourite places in all Mexico. You have many options for diving, snorkeling, boat and jet rides. The fact that it's not so busy as other beaches is a better option if you want to be away from the maddening Crowds

Very lonely beautiful beach. At least when I visited, a few surfers and body boarding going on but over all quite and relaxing. Only noise was the calm crashing of the waves.
