Awesome place to support and eat good fresh food! Open 11am - 4pm during these days, with delicious options for small bites (cakes, guacamole & bread) and normal meals - tofu curry and rice, I had hard time choosing. The best would be to come with a few people so you can order everything and share. I had the best ice-cream in Myanmar here: mango & dark chocolate flavours are just pure heaven. A great must stop in Kalaw.

I loved the food. Guacamole was amazing. All the ingredients were very fresh. Veggie fried rice was really delicious. They dont use plastic straw.

I am surprised to find such an amazing place here in Kalaw.
We tried home made coconut ice cream and hot Thai milk tea. (Can’t stop having them) :-D
The ice cream is really delicious (something we can’t find very often).
The tea is nice too.
What’s more?
I keep thinking about the meaning of ‘sustainability’ while having food since this place is also an eco shop and a training center for local youths!
We will definitely go there again.

Such a lovely cafe. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. The homemade coconut ice cream is another great perk :) This is a spot not to be missed in Kalaw!

Great place, delicious food and amazing people. If you want to hang Out, Look for a Coffee / food or cooking class or yoga in kalaw i recommend this place.

Very nice café! Cozy and interesting place to have good conversation about local food. They have cooking classes and yoga classes.

Jim and his family served us a somptious brunch - great start if you are planning some adventures for the day (Jim can also help with arranging mountain bikes or hiking guides). The yoga space is lovely as well.

Easily the best meal we had so far in Myanmar!! Might look expensive but you get a huge meal from the "Big Bites." Simply fantastic, healthy, & unique flavors too. Already can't wait to go back!!

Good place for enjoying lunch and some good deserts, especially banana cake. Good experience and near a good church.

They serve only vegetarian food . Also nice home make natural ice cream . Well trained young people will arrange your meals .

This place is owned by a very nice family. The coffee was just like I love it. Good food for a fair price if you consider it's fresh prepared and all organic. It was wonderful to smell the fresh made cake and cinnamon rolls. Breakfast was delicious and you can have spy or coconut milk for your coffee. Very cozy and lovely place for a rest in Kalaw.

We did a cooking class there and wow it was great. We went to the market and bought all the ingredients first and then cooked a beautiful and tasty meal with our cooking teacher who was very kind and helpful. She spoke good English as well and that made it easy to understand her instructions. We also got lots of food to bring with us and got to taste their home made ice cream. Overall a great experience in Kalaw and a wonderful cafe!

Best cafe in Kalaw👍 awesome food, great value for money. The staff are all kids that are helped/trained by the owner so a great way to help Myanmar become a better place.

I have had many delicious meals at this cool , relaxing cafe. It has the best coffee and icecream in Kalaw. A lovely family running this social enterprise which reaches out to the needs of the community providing training for youth. Not only that, It has a nice variety of healthy meals.

Came for the yoga, stayed for the food.

Lovely spot with an onsite yoga studio. The yoga teacher is great. The studio is located on the first floor and gives great panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

The cafe also has grammar coffee and a brilliant selection of veg and vegan meals. So good that we ate here twice on our stay.

Fantastic place with wonderful owners. I was sick and they made a to-go order of plain rice and vegetable soup for me. When I was better, I came to enjoy it for myself! Great ambiance, lots of options on the menu, and even sell 100% natural soaps and lip balms.

This is a great place! Vegetarian options were tasty.we loved salads Tamarind tofu and smoothies. Friendly staff and source of local information. Tables or benches allow relaxing and interesting information available about eco projects and training.

Phantastisch staff and great food. We came twice in our two day stay in Kalaw. Everything we tried was delicious: cakes, cappuccino, pasta, Burmese salad. The perfect spot if you want to enjoy some Western treats after travelling as well as exploring the local cuisine!
