Wonderful food as per all the reviews. Friendly owner whose great grandparents came from Nepal. We had the chapati with dhal bat , chicken cashew curry and chicken briyani. Didn't get to try the sweets though other tables had it. Highly recommended.

This is very good Nepali restaurant. The dry mean non oily chapati is good with the chicken or mutton curry. The really under dog or rated is their briyani which is really good, non oily and tasty with balance of the herbs, favours with either mutton or chicken. I would central back just for the briyani alone to Kalaw. It is totally different from Yangon briyani which is super oily. Must try

Very well done! Excellent food, delicious ginger tea and clean and modern toilet with a sink where you can WASH YOUR HAND PROPERLY WITH SOAP! which is a nice feeling when you are in a restaurant and you are preparing to eat some delicious Nepali and Indian food masala with naan, and papadam etc etc hmmm thank you Everest!

Never had Nepali food before. Love all the small side dishes you get with the mains. Very fragrant tastes!

They make vegan food is very good and tasty. I really like what they do for us a gourmet cuisine. Even things are friendly, smiling and hospitality. This is once from my favorite local restaurant in Kalaw.

Delicious affordable and hygienic food

This place is amazing. Food is great and so tasty, with every meal you get some free amazing side dishes (you get a refill as much as you want!). The staff is nice and very friendly. This is a must visit, best meal i had in along time!!!

Something about the hype. This popular Indian cuisine is the best eat in Kalaw. I highly recommend the plates (with bread, and veggie mixes etc). Moreover, the fresh orange taste as if they picked the fruits a minute before serving.

Love our meal here - mutton masala and mutton curry. Food was well prepared and portioned. Our mains came with the rice, chapati and a variety of curried/spicey sides. We left very full and satisfied. Recommend!

Nice place. I only had masala tea and pakora, but both were delicious, and the other diners' food all looked great. Friendly service. A mix of locals and tourists, it seemed to be one of the busiest places in town.

Food was plentiful and well presented, quality was superb. We had chicken biriani and chicken and potato curries - plenty of rice ( with more offered) fried vegetable, chillies and vegetable salad were little extras at no extra charge.
We ate on a sunday night, the place was full, with people waiting for tables. The food was a little more expensive than normal, but well worth the extra....

Delicious. We had the veg curry and the dahl bhat. Both come with an array of pickles which were kept topped up. We definitely recommend. 2 drinks + 2 wholesome meals for only £6.80.

Amazing chicken biryani. Avocado salad also amazing. Always quite packed with people bit got in quickly both times we ate there. Local wine too.

It's a backpacker place for sure but the Nepali food here is great. The curries themselves are fairly small but they also provide a load of free sides to go with them.
