WEStay @ Boutique House - Kalaw

My wife and I had an excellent experience at this hotel with all the staff. Khin M. Htwe (the owner), Sai (the manager) and the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.

I chose Golden Wing instead of another hotel. I was turned down by Dream Villa Hotel when I tried to book (Dream Villa asked me for a deposit since I wasn't a foreign tourist). Golden Wing, on the other hand, didn't have a policy of asking for a deposit. The owner, Khin M. Htwe, took the booking on the phone.

Sai, the manager, and the crew were professional and friendly. We had good experience interacting with them.

Our room was nice. We had hot shower. No air-conditioning. But Kalaw weather in February didn't need air conditioning, anyways. It has a balcony. We took some photos from the balcony. We can see Kalaw train station from the balcony.

Breakfast on the roof terrace was included -- toast, fried eggs (sunny side up), and coffee. We enjoyed it. The view from the roof terrace in the morning was a bonus.

Overall, we had an excellent experience here thanks to the staff!

Rather than a small motel, it's like a small art gallery. Situated not far from town center but in quiet and cozy place. Rooftop bar is authentic, artistic and worthwhile place of night life.

Saubere Zimmer, alles frisch renoviert, freundliches Personal (spricht leider kaum Englisch...) super Blick von der Dachterrasse und heiße Duschen. ... Was will man mehr ;o)

Der manager sai war super! Gutes frühstück, saubere zimmer, schöne aussicht von der dachterrasse. Halfen uns beim tourenplanen und sprachen gut englisch. Preis okay, lage auch!

Das Hotel hatte Stil und war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse entsprechend gut.

Golden Wing မိုတယ် ဟာ ကလောမြို့ ရဲ့ အချက်အခြာကျတဲ့ နေရာမှာတည်ရှိပါတယ် ။ မြို့နယ်ခန်းမ ၊ ဘော်လုံးကွင်း ၊ ပန်းခြံ အစရှိတဲ့နေရာတွေ အနီးအနားမှာရှိပါတယ် ။ အထူးသဖြင့် ကလောနာရီစင် နဲ့ အနီးဆုံး မိုတယ်တစ်ခုပေါ့ ၊ ကလောဘူတာနဲ့လည်း နီးလိုက်သေး ။ ၅ မိနစ်လောက် လျှေက်ရင်လည်း ဈေးကိုရောက်တဲ့ မိုတယ် တစ်လုံးရယ်ပါ ။

My stay at here was exceptional. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and offered stunning views of Kalaw. I could enjoy the view of the mountain from the back rooms and guests can also see Kalaw city view from the front rooms. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staffs. The price was also reasonable. It is one of the best choices guest houses to stay in Kalaw.

New hotel, clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast room is situated at roof terrace and can see nice view of kalaw city. Available hot shower, and every room have balcony. Very near to Kalaw train station and around 10- min walk to Kalaw market. Reasonable room price! Recommended!
