We choose the 3 nights trek from Kalaw to Inle lake and it was magic ! Haq is a wonderfull and very friendly guide. He explained us a lot of things and his english was very good. He has a lot of experience, meaning he knows many paths to avoid the big tourists groups! The firsts 2 days we only crossed a few people.

Hak was a great guide whose English is very well and who knows a lot about the kalaw region. We went horse riding one day and also did a 2-day trekking tour from kalaw to inle lake. He provided us with everything we needed (water, delicious food etc.) and was super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended if you go trekking or horse riding in Kalaw!

By far the best trekking service in Kalaw! The guide Sai Haq is great and his English is very good. He knows a lot about the surroundings of Kalaw and I would recommend him to people who want to learn about the region and the people.

An Amazing and unforgettable experience ! Haq is THE perfect guide :) he knows so many things about trecking. He is really funny and Kind. We also had so many interessting discussions about the country and other topics. We have learned so much. We did so many different things during this treck. Thanks for everything ! We will never forget :)

Best Trekking ever in Kalaw! Huq speaks realy good english and we did a remote way from Kalaw to Inle we never saw any other tourists. Beautiful sights!

Haq - that's the name of the manager and main guide - is a professional guide but there are some things he can improve:

1) make sure that his clients know what's the price: my girlfriend and I were shocked when he told us we had to pay 53$ per person instead of 53,000 kyat. We both had understood that was the price.

2) He likes his mobile phone way too much. During our trek from Kalaw to inle lake he used his phone every 5 or 10 minutes. Two or three phone calls are understandable, but we didn't pay to walk next to someone who's just using his phone.

3) He arranged our homestay in a village near inle lake. The place was very dirty, another group had a much cleaner place to stay. We wonder if he could have tried to find some place better.

4) I carried my clothes and my girlfriend's because Haq said we'd be able to take a shower... finally that wasn't true... so I carried some extra kilos for nothing.

This might seem a harsh review; but I also want to make clear that he's a nice guy and that he explains stuff (if you ask). Anyway, I think the price was too high for what we got in exchange.
