Amazing little hotel with good breakfast. Quiet and lovely.

Amazing experience! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was helpful and accomodated the odd hours of bus travel to and from Kalaw. The breakfast is fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. The owner is an absolutely amazing human, and made this stay extra special. We have stayed in several locations in Kalaw, but now will stay here anytime we visit.

We received a warm welcome and felt like staying almost with friends. The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need.
A short walk into town with many restaurants and great place to sleep before starting a Trecking Tour.

We had a wonderful time in Kalaw vista bed and breakfast. It's a eco-friendly b&b. The room was very lovely, with a nice decoration, very clean and quiet. The bed was super confortable.
You can choose your breakfast and it is very fresh and very good.
And the owner is very lovely.
I totally recommend you to stay there in Kalaw.

We arrived at 3:30am in kalaw by bus from Bagan, and the legends at Kalaw Vista offer a pick up service and early check in for about 30 dollars. I have rarely been so happy to see a friendly face at a bus stop in the middle of the night. Thank you so much for even offering this service and picking us up with a smile despite the early morning hours!

The rest of the stay was flawless as well. Probably the most comfortable bed we had in Myanmar, good laundry service (although a bit more highly priced than in other places we’ve seen along the way). The breakfast is fabulous and the two owners are absolute legends. Splitting their time between Myanmar and the US, one of them an electrical engineer and the other one deeply involved in community work throughout the region, this place is an amazing place to catch a breath between adventures!

Stayed here very recently before doing a two day trek to Inle Lake, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The B&B is cozy, the breakfasts are good, and the owner was so welcoming, even busting out a first aid kit after I scraped my knee on the way over to the hotel haha.

We felt at home as we've never felt at home before in Myanmar! The owners Cho Cho and Bo Bo have created a cozy home home and invite you to share food and stories. Having lived in the US for a long time, it's a nice mix of Myanmar tradition and Western living style. They also bake bread almost every day and it's delicious (it's real bread, not some wobbly white toast stuff). It was the only place where I was really full after breakfast AND it was delicious! Rooms are clean and tidy, hot water works - but to be honest, we didn't spend time in our rooms but were almost all the time in the living room

This place is kind of surreal when you're already used to Myanmar. It takes special people to make something this wonderful.
It's by far the best option in Kalaw. Indeed, when you include the impressive environmental sustainability of this place, homemade bread and delicious cheese and many other impressive features, it's very hard not to go back.

Also, the owner, Cho Cho, speaks impeccable English and shares travel tips for free.

I've been back in Mandalay for less than a week and I just want to be back at Kalaw Vista.

Really nice b&b. Good rooms&showers, nuce breakfast. I recommend the traditional shan noodles. And most important really friendly staff, with a hostess who is excellent in English

Perfect place to stay in Kalaw: good location, close enough to the city center but on a quiet setting; charming house, very comfortable and welcoming, you notice the attention to details; delicious breakfast, good restaurant recommendations and overall attention.

Vista Inn has nice rooms which are clean, quiet and good for family trip. Manager and staff are courteous and very helpful.

Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem tollen Bed and Breakfast verbracht und können es zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen. Die Unterkunft ist vom Eingangsbereich bis hin zu den Zimmern mit Liebe wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Bett war das bequemste Bett während unserer gesamten Myanmarreise. Das Frühstück kann am Vortag ausgewählt werden (Eierspeise, Shan Noodles, Pancakes) und bietet zudem auch frisch gebackenes Brot sowie Obst, Kuchen und Cornflakes. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wird zudem auch auf Nachhaltigkeit wert gelegt, weshalb jedes Zimmer über Flaschen verfügt, die im B&B über Wasserstationen wiederbefüllbar sind.
