Hangaram Stationery Store

This is such a nice stationary story. I came mainly because I tried to find nice papers, especially structured papers that have the handmade look. The shop has a nice collection of these papers and they were really cheap compared to other papers with the same quality. They also had a huge collection of painting papers or plain papers. I also bought some pretty stickers. The staff was really friendly and they packed the papers savely.

I wish Sweden could match this store. So much crafting stuff, so many tools and so much more.

The biggest art supply store chain in Korea. It's locates near the exit 1 of Express Bus Terminal station.

Wow! Simply wow! THIS is the art supply AND stationary store I've been searching for! Usually when I ask people where to find art supplies, they suggest stationary stores. This place has the best of both! All the western and Japanese brands as well as most Korean brands. Paints, brushes, carving tools, stamps, ink, fountain pens (not the fancy Japanese FPs, but they have the entry level pilot Kakuno and Platinum Preppy.) I picked up a Hahnemuhle sketchbook, Platinum Starlet, Monami FP (because I still haven't compared a Korean FP), a Pilot Juicy gel pen, and a letter stationary set for less than $20. The prices are reasonable, and the dollar is good compared to the won today. I highly recommend shopping here. I am going to be a new regular customer, as it's so convenient from the 3, 7, and 9 subway lines! Except for block printing ink! That I still have to get at Homi 호미화방. No Speedball products here yet. They have plenty for screen printing and etching though, for whoever uses such things! Oh, and plenty of craft stuff for kids/parents/teachers!

Love this place so much~ go there for all my art supplies. I give them so much of my paycheck each month....and when we spend over 100,000₩ they give us a free americano coupon! It's great!

Prices were higher for what I wanted (embroidery thread) but they have a large variety of materials.
