Seongnyugul Cave

The walk to the cave was nice, where you walk next to the dam with clear waters. They give you safety hats before entering the cave. It’s quite humid and hot in the cave. We saw large fish in the waters which was a big surprise. They were not introduced to the cave, so they have always been there. It’s quite a short walk but very interesting to see and walk around.

Entrance looked old and small but inside the cave is pretty amazing. They provide helmet to go in and you needed. Not recommended for little children as there are path that is little dangerous. Must visit if you like Cave.

Today we're going to explore a mysterious cave. The entrance fee was 5,000 won for adults, but I really wanted to see it. Wear another jacket and a safety helmet. Inside the cave, there was an exclamation of the mysteries of nature, such as ponds, squares, 500,000 stalactites, stone pillars, and stalagmites. The entrance fee was not a waste because there were so many things to see.

Only a small part of the cave is open. It only takes 30 minutes to look around. However all the geological features are very interesting and since some parts are a little narrow, it gives you a real sense if adventure. Best if all we saw a real bat roosting, which was a huge thrill for my 9 year old. Also, it's worth noting it's not cold inside like other caves. Perhaps there is geothermal activity.

The cave has been formed for approximately 250M years so far. There are stalactites, stalagmites, waters, and around 50 kinds of bats which are commonly found in limestone caves. Great place to visit!

Cave road is very narrow and long.
Also, there are many small ponds in the cave, living big and small fishes. You can see those.

such a unique experience, a must visit with family , if you love photography you can go for sure , Nice experience inside the cave, most are formed of different stones. Naturally growing stones. The inside is maintained with pathway to walk.
