Parking lots are free and enough, but a little bit uncomfortable with the accessibility.
You can check in fast with kiosks and dowhat app. Checkout should be done in the front in the lobby.
Breakfast buffet was nice and fantastic. Foods are delicious and coffee is good.

If you are looking for a great place to stay at gangneung-si, St. John Hotel is one of the best locations you'll find. With its proximity to the sea side, it is hard not to appreciate the beauty of the sea just by looking from your window!

There are so many facilities to experience. When I am traveling, I find it hard to schedule a work out since not all hotels have fitness centers. Fortunately, St. John hotel has a spacious workout facility that I was able to use!

The best experience I’ve ever had! We woke up early to experience the first sunrise of the year 2024. There was a lot of people who woke up early to experience this magical moment too! Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience. Beautiful location by the seaside and cabbage farm. Attended Gangwon Biz Meeting with 10 buyers from Malaysia from 13-16/11/2023. Hubs was coming as a buyer too.

It was the first time I visit this hotel, and it was so comfortable and satisfying.
But the breakfast was soso. 😅

Overall this hotel is super nice and clean. Very close to Gangmun Beach by walking distance. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around the area. The amenities inside the hotel are well managed, the staffs are also nice, and the room itself is clean. But they don't provide toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, fingernail clippers, cotton buds, etc in the room. They have vending machine in every floor tho where you can get them, just a bit pricy. Better going to the convenience store in the first floor to grab them.

Dogs everywhere. This is heaven.

It was just next to gangmun beach so you have amazing view right outside your window...I really enjoyed my stay here..with the facilities being super sophisticated. If you're going to gangneung...this is your place! The food was amazing as well☺😋

The ocean view room was so good as you sleep while hearing the sound of the waves. The room is equipped with everything you will need. Very clean, comfortable and spacious place to stay. Lots of options to enjoy your time there like spa, pools, etc. Would highly recommend to stay here if you are going to Gangneung.

Although I'm staying at the lake view tower, but the view is still amazing! I love the interior which delicate with marble. I had a perfect rest and morning view is just a plus point! Beautiful :)) Would love to stay again

The location is perfect. About 5 minutes of walk from the beach. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The view from the room is beautiful. The staffs were nice and kind. the breakfast options were great and delicious.

Nice big hotel direct next to the beach. For a conference great. For a private trip the extra fee for the pool is not nice. Breakfast offers for everyone great stuff with a partiell beach/water view. The only annoying thing is speed of the elevators.

had a tight sleep here last month! the room was super clean and large even for 2 people I guess. And my favorite were the bathroom and beach view. will come back soon here for sure~

What an amazing hotel! I stayed at a Sea View room, and the view was so beautiful ☺
And I liked that there are so many things to do around the hotel. Also, loved the sculptures on the beach 👌🏻

This is a fantastic gateaway hotel. 2 hours by KTX from seoul the hotel is ar ound 10 mins by taxi from the station right on the beach.

Check in was seamless and can be done via the online check in desk

The sauna complex is modern and clean. great for chilling out both for families and without kids as they have an adult only relaxation room overlooking the beach.

The Italian restaurant had great decor and friendly staff.

I would recommend the ocean view rooms, which were modern and clean with amazing views.

The cafe in the lobby has great coffee and pastry selections for breakfast.

I would not hesitate to recommend and stay again next time as a family.

The negative reviews seem to be from guests who are purely uptight and stingy with money and should stay in a motel.

St. John's Hotel lived up to it's commitment and gave us the best service during our stay. We were able to watch the fierworks display from the balcony of our room. I often judge the hotel we based on the breakfast they serve; as you can see i'm very satisfied and gave them a 5 star review.

Though it was a short stay, I loved this hotel! The window view is just magnificient. The hotel is huge, has several buildings. What I liked about the room is its interior and that it was super clean!

Nice hotel by the beach. The most thing that I like this place is staffs are so nice and friendly. I order breakfast but I don't have much time for eating, after waiting 10 mins I told them to cancel my order and they gave me coffee and breads at the cafeteria downstair cz that was faster. Love this place!

The best hotel i have been to in gangneung. Very high quality and amazing customer service. I recommend to anyone planning to visit gangneung. The rooms are so clean and cheaper than expected. a very beautiful ocean view ❤
