This is a really lovely art museum and pieces quite original. Children seem to enjoy as some pieces were interactive with great photo opportunities. You maybe tempted to go here on a rainy day but you may miss the view at the top and outside art may not be seen as their best. All exhibits beautifully displayed

Very cool place.
Adult entrance fee is W17, 000. U will need about 3 to 4 hours here with all there is to take in. The exhibition pieces are well-maintained and pretty. The route around tge various halls are guided by signs. Well defined spaces.

Only issue is u either have to drive or take a cab in and out of the place. The buses are totally unreliable, its not even late but it doesnt even come. One way via cab from the city center will cost you about W20, 000 - W25, 000.

Haslla is worth the trip though. :)

The location is great, all rooms have ocean view. The bed was cosy and the bathtub... wow. The staff is very friendly and even without English the conversation was good.
The breakfast is delivered to your room. Also there is enough parking available.

the museum have a breathtaking view of the sea. There is a museum inside, and a park with a lot of interesting sculptures. the place is really peaceful and soo aesthetic. got a lot of pics here! highly recommend this place if you really want to spend your holiday see the art and stunning landscape at the same time.

Went during early winter, and the exhibits were fine. They also have a hotel, and the rooms seem nice, but may be pricy. I don't think there's public transpo to access the place, but you can take a cab.

Firstly! The installation are all amazing! I personally love the Pinnochio Exhibition. Also, there is cafe and restaurant inside the art building itself. I had quick avocado sandwich for brunch at the restaurant. I like that they use all natural and organic ingredients! Make sure to head to the sculpture park! Art and the ocean made the best combination guys! :))

Super fun museum. Many unqiue photo spots and art. The muesum is like a maze, have fun navigating through hidden doors, rooms and floors.

It's been a while since a fun museum opened in Gangneung. Pinocchio-themed exhibits are worth seeing, but flower-themed exhibits are great for photography. There is also a restaurant and coffee shop, so it is convenient to use.

Haslla art world is a wide area. We went on 11000KRW per head ticket. That breathtaking sea view from the top is out of the world. Also each and every art piece was beautiful inside the museum. Worth the money. And yes, you're allowed to take pictures 📸

Its a great place for someone who loves art! Both indoor and outdoor exhibition were amazing. Lot of beautiful photozones that are really popular in instagram!

Hassla Art World Museum in Gangneung is an adventurous trip back to everyone's childhood. It is both dark and heavy, it is eerie and mysterious, it is fun and exciting. Hassla got its name from Gangneung's old name during the Silla period. It is a 61 acre museum divided into 3 sections: the Modern Art Museum, the Pinocchio Museum and the Outdoor Museum. Pinocchio Museum is my most favorite. You will know you are in it once you enter the long dark belly tunnel of the whale, or at least that's what I thought it was. Be ready to be time warped and to experience a hypnotic trance at Hassla Museum.

This was a very unique art museum with very quirky features that may not suit everyone. The Pinocchio displays were nothing like anything I’ve experienced. We (adults and children alike) definitely had a good time.

What a beautiful place to visit! I loved the way their art was displayed and the ocean views from outside. They have a lot to see and the best part, my dog (2.9kg yorkie) was allowed in as long as I kept her in her bag while inside. When I was looking at the art on the lawn I was allowed to take her out.
