too many tourists but still worth it. i think the traffic was bigger due to holidays but it feels like the mecca of korean coffee shops...hahaha. definitely a worthwhile visit for first timers and if u are in town(gangneung).

Couldnt get in the museum unluckily.. Still the cafe was so beautiful. It has this factory like feeling and high walls. Also the small garden next to is great place to hang out. I recommend pecan pie for sure!! You should try it!

In love with this place! First, if you're a blogger, it's a great place to take pictures and shoot vlogs. Second, the menu is filled with unique drinks, including a great variety of coffee. Lastly, everything we ordered was super tasty!

A famous cafe/coffee factory in Gangneung! The building is massive, and it's very neat inside! I'm no coffee drinker, but the coffee was very smooth and I liked it. The best part is the dessert. Literally, ALL THE DESSERTS that we got (shown in the photo below) were hella delicious!

It's a bit far from the city so you better drive there yourself, or get a call taxi for about 25,000 won each way from/to the city.

I would recommend this place to every dessert lovers and coffee drinkers!

Disclaimer! I was here when it was not busy at all. From what I hear, this place is an absolute zoo normally, and that would make me rate this lower.

For a real coffee lover, this place is killer. They have single origin and blends from all over the world. All of the beans are roasted in-house, and the staff are very good at prepping the coffee. It can be a bit pricey (I paid 10,000 KRW for a cup of their most expensive hand drip), but the coffee is stellar.

I drove 2 hours (actually 4 if you consider the return trip) for the coffee and loved it. Granted, I didn't drive all this way only for the coffee, but it was the one must-do thing on my list. Definitely will come back.

Nice ambience, decent coffee. Part of the Terarosa coffee factory converted into large coffee shop and restaurant. Always lots of people, expect a very long wait for your coffee. Pastry and snacks are pretty good also, so maybe a good idea to eat while waiting for coffee.

Great little stop for anyone that enjoys amazing coffee. Not just a spot to grab coffee but also a tour of the coffee production and history. Definitely a worthy place to the visit!

a european style cafe.. you can feel it from the building design, interior, staffs' uniform, even the music.. the foods are all tempting, and drinks are fine.. altough i think the drinks are a little bit overprice, but still worth a visit once in a while.. lot of people come here on the weekend, you might not find a seat

A lovely cosy cafe. Love the atmosphere and the brunch menus are quite nice.

Go for the views and the coffee, but lower your expectations for the food. Very bland. Too eggy.

Some parts are still under construction. Main areas consist of a museum, two-floor cafe, a restaurant with outdoor seating, and a shop for art merchandise and beans (unroasted beans are sold only online).

Unique industrial interior and architectural design. A lot of great photo spots. Beverages were good, and a good variety of pastries. Can get very busy as it is a popular tourist spot when visiting Gangneung.

Excellent coffee and bakery goods... highly recommand if you are a coffee lover.

You can feel Europe style cafe

It is a cafe that I always go to when I go to Gangneung. The atmosphere is good and the coffee is good, but the bread is more delicious than anything else. Personally, Americano is more delicious than latte and fig and rye bread is the best. what's unfortunate is that since the store expanded, there have been so many people that it has become complicated.

This is great place to visit especially for those who is favor of having experience for sipping various kind of coffee in the fancy coffee bar in typical Korean country side. Good place to relax. Private car is needed. (No public transportation is available.)

Pricy but very good coffee

Where the Korean Coffee company started. A really large and modern facility out in the hinterlands of East Coast Korea. The facility architecture is mixed modern and large with places to eat and drink their coffee, juices, baked goods and they even have a coffee museum and restaurant that looks similar to The Cheesecake Factory and Olive Garden combined, for Americans to understand as context.

when you visit the GangReung(강릉), and if you like the coffee or bread, you should go the coffee shop.
as you saw picture, there are many people. But dont worry this shop has enough space to enjoy your time.
