Holiday Inn & Suites Alpensia Pyeongchang, an IHG Hotel

We took free shuttle bus here from Jinbu station. The same shuttle bus goes to yong pyong too. There’s also shuttle bus to and from Seoul and Incheon airport it seems.

Part of a charming little resort (with 2 other hotels) that gives vibe of a European alpine town. The reception staff are attentive and tried to provide help, with adequate command of English. Lots of convenience shops and restaurants within resort. Ski slope just at doorstep of accommodation.

The room we had was spacious, comfortable and clean. Kitchen is well equipped, towels and bedding are provided. Room temperature was comfortable. Do note there is no toothbrush, hair brush, shampoo, body wash and bedroom slippers. Also no bottled water. But I think it’s fine as we need to cut down on consumables and plastic; we brought our own of these during travel.

Only complain is room I got is in different building from reception. So after check in still got to move luggage to another building. Overall had a very enjoyable stay here. :)

Very neat. Huge place! I stayed with 5 others and it was big enough. 4 used beds, 1 used the non-bed room and 1 used the sofa. Huge living room. Two bathrooms. I totally loved it. It was just like an apartment

Lovely European styled resorts with living room and kitchen. Super near to the skii slopes, plenty of eateries and convenient stores on site. Rental of skii equipment and skii lift etc could be alittle overwhelming for a foreigner as some institutions were not translated to English. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time skiing and snow sledding. Only regret was 2 days 2 nights were too short! Would return again!

Had a great two night stay here. The hotel is excellent as is the service from all of the staff. Really enjoyed the location, ambience and as a result the experience. Unfortunately on the day we selected to ski it rained all day, at least there were no queues as a result. Breakfast was really nice but also very expensive. As with all resorts pricing was inflated so prepare financially.

Beautiful surroundings, clean and spacious rooms, convenient choice of restaurants, shops, and services. Steps from the Alpensia lifts and within shouting distance of two golf courses. We were here in the middle of a week in May, so it was *very* quiet. Very highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Although I only stayed for a single day, the experience was absolutely enjoyable. The concierge was friendly and the reception was really helpful as well. I would especially want to commend Philip (a receptionist) who was observant and was willing to give directions around the resort when he saw me in distress without me even asking.

Great place with great staff. People are really kind and respectful. Services work well and the surrounding is full of nice restaurants. Really near Alpensia Resorts and IBC. Just 10 minutes walking. Prices may vary because of seasons. Great deal in websites like Booking.

We came for our anniversary, it's clearly a tricky time for travelling within South Korea but the staff were fantastic. We were really well looked after and the room itself was gorgeous with a great view of the resort.

Hopitality was just great. From initial greetings to taking care of room upgrade and just well being overall. Everyone seemed very helpful. To me that is what service industry such as staff at Alpensia Holiday Inn Resort is all about. I would be more than happy to return in the near future.

Very clean and functional. Perhaps the nicest Holiday Inn I've seen. Came with complimentary buffet breakfast that was pretty good. Right within a ski and golf resort. Very nice compound.

The kids sledge are free for public use. If you wish to take the moving travellator up the slope for a fun 50m ride downhill, it will cost about 10,000 won per child which include 5 rides. Otherwise, you may still play along the sledge area for free.

Satisfied staying in holiday inn resort. Best service and very convenient for parking and nearby hiking to Mt.Odea in non skiing seasons. Room upgraded for platinum members.

Room is wide and spacious and very clean. Even the locals stay here so it's definitely great. Some rooms even offer views that are breathtaking.

Very nice, been here on summer and winter, beautiful scenery and facilitate with many fun activities. Highly recommend alpine coaster for summer season.

Large rooms and nice beds. They included thin mattress in the cupboard so one room can actually pack a family with 2 kids.

This picture tells a thousand words. A family friendly resort for those who are keen in picking up skiing during the winter season. A great place to unwind, recharge and rejuvenate for all.

Ordered Beef Rendang for lunch and it's delicious. Came back for dinner the same day and ordered their burger. Their food is good and the customer service is excellent! Will definitely be back. :)

Korea #1 for foreign's skiing in winter, convenience, service, food and more. Town has many restaurants about 15 mins away

I almost cannot say anythings because this resort are the best in south korea, this place was part of my journey back then at january 2017, because it was winter i went here with my famillies to have a try of playing snow, im indonesian so there are no winter in my country, the resort we spent is in holiday inn express, the service are very warm from all the staff, the room itself are very complete of stuff, we can cook in the room, the perfect about the room i rent was the balcony view, it face the ski resort so very beautiful, i will give 5 stars to this hotel, im very enjoyed go to this kind of place.. So i will recomended you guys to stay at holiday inn express when go to pyongchang resort

Nice place to stay at if you're a skiing and wakeboard enthusiast. The slopes may become full on the weekends though.
